Nice puzzle game ! Short enough fort the game to not feel repetitive and long enough in term of content IMO
I got through the end, a little end screen would have been nice to congrats the players :p
But overall I liked the game a lot, great job !

Reall well done! The art and sound design is superb. On the WebGL version I found that the game had a pretty poor framerate, which made it very difficult to control. I also second the comment about it being difficult to know what the ghost can / can't pass through. Otherwise, great job!

This game is absolutely amazing! The artwork is stunning, and the mechanics are expertly crafted. It provides an incredibly immersive and thrilling experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. Fantastic job!

I rather enjoyed the puzzle mechanics on this one, The spirit possession system was fun and the puzzles where really well thought out. Not sure sadly if this really hits the theme too well, but I think this can really be expanded into something more.

Pretty interesting mechanics, I think you did a nice job here!

Absolutely stunning game to play, I love the aesthetics of this game, had a lot of fun playing it. Puzzles were not the toughest, but still interesting. I only fail to see the theme for this game!

I enjoyed the look and mechanics, very well done. The look somehow reminds me of Magicka game.

Cute game and the ghost mechanic is great!

Beautiful and so much fun to play! I love it. The mechanics are great as well. There were a couple of time where I couldn't see my character because of the camera angle and the walls, but it's very cool and engaging game.

Nice puzzle game! Good graphics and relaxing music.

Very clever puzzling! But not so clever that I got stuck forever on a puzzle. :)

The presentation is very nice, the UI looks great, especially the way the level selections slide across the screen when you switch from one to the next.

It wasn't always immediately obvious what any particular pressure plate had opened, usually I approached a puzzle under the assumption that I had to press down all of them as soon as they were available, which worked most of the time.

It was also unclear what the ghost could and couldn't pass through. Obviously it only takes bumping into the iron bars once to understand that a ghost can't pass through them, but it took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that the plank bridges were something I couldn't use as a ghost. I assumed I kept lining up my approach incorrectly and was going off one side or the other.

I appreciate the inclusion of a sprint button! But when in ghost mode this did once cause me to pass outside the level boundary and fall into the void.

First 2 minutes into game and immediately hooked.  Love it!

Really fun and interesting puzzle game with unique mechanics. Clever how the iron bars block the ghost's passage since historically iron was believed to be harmful (or at least impassable) to ghosts and the such.

Couple bugs I found:

  • In one of the levels (4 I think it was? Lots of book cases to the right and multiple gates to pass near the top, spike pit in lower left) I had two skeletons near each other and when I went to possess one, the game had me possess both at once. And, when I came out, I had two ghosts. Somewhere I accidentally killed one of the skeletons in the spike pit but it didn't reset (because I technically still had the other ghost) basically soft-locking the game on that level until I reset.
  • The exterior walls are passable to the ghost letting you drop out of the world resetting the level (learned this by accident when I was near the end of one of the levels).

Very cool concept! Took me a second figure out what you meant by possessing another character but once I got it, I enjoyed your game! great music

The possession mechanics were very fun, and I always enjoy an interesting puzzle game. I found the angle of the camera to be a little low, which made some parts a bit hard to see, and it also would be nice to have some indicator of what you are going to possess, since I found it a bit tricky when there was a skeleton and the character close together. It also might be nice if there was some indicator of which buttons were linked to which doors so there is a little less trial and error, but it was a lot of fun!

Cool idea and implementation of control different bodies!
Maybe limit walls pass outside level? Or this done with puprose?

Great Job !!

Best of luck

Nice use of outsourced assets for the environment, characters and fire fx. Music was good and I appreciated that the tracks changed. The art style was really fun to have chosen.

Precise movement was difficult at times such as if you did not reach one of the switches in the exact position needed, however overall it was fun and engaging, especially for a team of two programming.

The onboarding in the beginning was  a great introduction. I like that you kept the phasing through wood consistent too!

Unfortunately, although you did try to clarify in another comment, still unsure how this ties into the theme as I think the storytelling did not necissarily get the point across that youre making your last stand defending the castle.

Overall really great fun, congrats! 😊

I thought the game looked cool! I liked the mechanics of the ghost being able to phase through some objects but not everything. I thought that brought an interesting twist and falling through the wooden panels made a lot of sense with the context of the rest of the game.

I did think that the game as a bit too easy and slow. I know puzzles games are difficult to balance just because you can't really playtest them yourself so I appreciate maybe leaning on the side of easier but for me it didn't bring a lot of challenge. But I still thought the submission was cool. Wish it was a tad bit faster though.
