Hello all! I graduated from Game Design BA about a year ago and decided to change direction due to the industry mess going on. But now that i have time to spare in my days, i was thinking of coming back to the world of game design and learn from the ground up! So fair warning, if you are looking for an experienced designer, no me haha but I am excited to work on a game and this theme really interested me! I've designed games in the past, ill send a portfolio of them soon and I primarily did Level design and mechanics design but narrative design are also on the table, i do love a game with rich narrative. Hey guys! looking for a team to join, I mainly do game design which includes level and narrative as well, im not fluent in C# but can understand the fundamentals to some capacity (done trigger scripts, basic movement and more)

Was thinking of some sort of horror-themed escape? Possibly about a character who explores the outskirts of Japan and stumbles upon a misty temple and explores it contents, eventually grabbing an ancient artefact which causes an escape scenario where the samurai starts to chase the player, something like this? Or even other concepts, maybe a basic samurai replaying a historic battle where the player can control the samurai and use basic mechanics?

It would be really fun to join a team and create an awesome game!

I feel the same as you actually, i came here in the beginning to try and build upon my skills and create a strong portfolio but recently ive been conflicted and sort of straying away from games design, in that confusing stage. But ive made my mind up and going strong on what I know best, game design.
