I believe that if your model is somehow rotated in Blender and then exported, in the app you will have this rotation as well.
What I do, before exporting any models, I make sure they face the camera and apply all transforms, so that in the app the front view will be the model facing me.
PS: the spaces in the path affect only the "FBX TO JSON" tool (it runs a command line)

Unfortunately this version of 3DPixel only exports fixed models (.obj), to save .fbx animations you need to upgrade to 3DPixel Anim.
I gave access to the animation part so people can test on their side if the app meets their expectations. I am sorry if that wasn't clear enough in the description :-(
