I know I already answered this for you, but I wanted to reply on here for anyone else experiencing the issue. The game is designed in a manner to suggest it's being run off an actual GameBoy, so the actual controls for keyboard differ. In this case, what the game refers to as the 'A' button is actually Spacebar. You can find the full list of controls on the game page.

Honestly a lot of fun to play- some of the mechanics were relatively easy for players to overcome or otherwise get around, but the silence and limitations on communication made for a fascinating shift from general TTRPG games. It's definitely a game where the GM has so much control, the experience entirely comes down to their own creativity within the boundaries set by the rules.
Not sure how well I did, given I was the GM, but I had fun and the players seemed to as well!
Definitely a bit empty, but the graphics are amazing and the music, sound, and ambience are great too! Though extremely immersive, the lack of gameplay or mechanics leaves a lot to be developed upon in the future. As previously stated: this makes for an excellent foundation for a proper survival horror game. Good luck on continued development!
I couldn't get the game to run, but I've seen others play it to give my general thoughts. The mechanics present some interesting challenges involving obstacles. The game is on theme and the appearance has a fun, cartoony aesthetic. Audio is the hardest to comment on as I was only ever able to hear the menu music. (Edit: the music and the gradual changes each level are awesome!) Overall, though, the mechanics have a lot of potential and could be further developed upon in the future. (If you use your new idea later on... good luck!)
