This is amazing! This game really incapsulares those Indiana Jones vibes, with traps being used in various ways and being incorporated with the puzzles later on. The use of theme and limitation are spot on. And I love the two-phase gameplay, it really puts a twist on the same level you've been playing. Heck, you can even try using the puzzles in your advantage by setting everything up in a way that you can stand next to a certain statue when the countdown begins in order to have the most optimal path to the exit before collecting all the treasure. Every level has something memorable, and the whole gameplay was very intuitive.

But it would be unfair not to include any feedback regarding things that could be improved.

-While gameplay itself was intuitive, for the first 3 levels I was desperately trying to interact with pots, they misleaded me a little :p The point is - you should probably highlight objects you can interact with when you're close to them.

-Maybe the arrow trap and the trapdoor needed to look a bit more unique from each other. Sure, if you look at them long enough you can tell them one from another, but IMO sharing the same red border makes it hard to differentiate them sometimes, maybe they need borders of different color, or have special patterns not just on the tile itself, but on the said border as well. Another alternative would be to make the trapdoor look more like a hatch, while the arrow trap look like a giant button. But that's just how I would probably do it, you do you.

-Running is cool, but it would be even cooler if I could stop running on demand. The way it depletes the exhaust meter no matter what is sometimes mildly infuriating.

With that said, this is a great and highly polished game. You're very likely to win the jam.

Awesome game! It was fun dodging the enemy attacks and the limit on turns you can take made the fights challenging, sometimes I even would decide to take the risk and get hit in order to stop wasting my AP. The boss fight was fun, though by the end it got a little tedious. Can't blame you for that though, my game was lagging slightly and that slowed the experience down.

One thing I don't get is where do you involve the stream theme.

Not really sure about making it a metroidvania, but I have quite some plans for the exploration part of the game.

Thank you for the feedback!

Every comment about the funny legs warms my funny heart <3

Fun game. Though the collectibles weren't obvious at first -  for a while I was treating them as background elements until I just happened to hit one of them with a pipe and :o something happened!

Aside from that, I enjoyed it!

Glad you were satisfied even though I barely got to release it. Thank you for your encouragement during the jam, if it wasn't for that, then I could've given up early.

(1 edit)

Thank you for the feedback! Visual aspect is probably what I wanna try tackling with in higher priority, because I want to get some experience on that :p

A nice little experience. The concept has a lot of potential, I hope to see more :p

Here's your "Thank you!" coupon from someone who was obsessed with playing Gravity Guy on his phone 10 years ago (unbelievable how it was so long ago).

Though I feel like this entry would be even better if you had a bit more moments where you actually  feel like time is being against you, because most of the time this was more of a waiting game for me.

Great puzzles! I see potential for a great future of this game. My only complaint is that the screen becomes a bit messy in later levels, but it didn't impact the fabled "a-ha!" moments negatively. I liked how the last level was a twist on the level before, but I think you need a way to show level progression because when I entered it, I thought it was a bug.

I do have some plans for this game :p

Thank you for the feedback! First two are things I should definitely look up to. The others are the result of me running out of time. Hopefully next time I'll plan things more carefully to be able to reach the intended scope.

Thank you! You won't believe how much I didn't know I needed someone to point out that this was essentially my first "successful" try at a game. Just having something I could upload is already a great achievement for me. Hopefully this will encourage me to make more stuff in future jams.

I  love the aesthetics of this game: the UI design, the music changing pace, the way wires show up and slowly fade away, the game encouraging you to beat your high score after time's up. These little things really make up for the simplicity of the gameplay (which isn't a bad thing). This is the first game I played on this jam so far and I'm afraid that after this one I might be too spoiled to rate others objectively :p
