Yes, who knew running over voxel art animals could be so enjoyable? Thanks for the comment. Glad you enjoyed our weird little game.

Yes, we opted for a retro feel. Voxel art made that easy. Thanks for the comment! What was your high score?

Haha at the Road Kill Cafe, we aim to please. Thanks for checking out the game!

Wow, thanks for the comment. I'm stoked you enjoyed playing the game!

This is one of the most beautiful itch.io games I've played. Simply awesome art direction, soothing soundtrack, and fun gameplay. What type of witchcraft did you summon to create the art in one week? Teach me!

Ahhh, yes, the good old days... I recall, with great pleasure, smashing into my opponents on a freeway free for all. Good times.

By the way, thanks for the comment! I'm glad we could ignite the nostalgia in your soul.

Awww, your desire to run over innocent chicks warms the cockles of my heart. Thanks for the comment!

Your psychopathy is welcome in the world of Smashimals. You have arrived. You are home.

Thank you for your comment! I'm glad you enjoyed it... and the polka music too. I finished the submission at 3 am. For some reason, polka music just resonated with me in the witching hour.

We may have taken the theme too literally haha. When I thought connection, my brain went to impact, contact, and connecting in a physical sense... as in the bumper of an out-of-control food truck connecting with the bodies of innocent little chicks.

Thank you for the comment. It was a pleasure to make!

Thanks for the comment and feedback! I agree the camera could be further away -  the game would benefit from further tuning. We elected to keep it a bit tighter for the jam so you could fully experience the epic voxel explosions.

Anytime I get to play as a unicorn, I am a happy camper. This was a fun little infinite runner. Nice work on the animations, I know they aren't easy to knock out in a week. I give your game 10 rainbows out of 10!

Thanks for the comment. And, the birds aren't dead... they're just... sleeping?...

Decimating... what a perfect word to describe the gameplay! Thanks for the comment!

Donuts with a purpose!

Sounds epic! Thanks for the review!

Thanks for playing! To be clear, no animals were harmed in the making of this video game! 😊

Thanks! Who would have thought running over a chick could be so satisfying. Thanks for your comment.

Sweet. It was a blast to make.

Thanks for the feedback and comments. We may convert it to a mobile game in the future if players want it!

Point taken on the controls - it takes some getting used to.

I've updated the control pad diagram to provide more clarity into the mechanics. Hopefully, that clarifies it for future users.

Which puzzle was your favorite?
