Using simple mathematics, If you divide the current number of rates (10.1k) on the number of games submitted (369), the average number of rates a submitted game gets is about 27 rates.
so anything around that number is fine.
also remember, the number of rates you get is not as important as the quality/value of them, so a game with 10 5-star rates should do better than a one with 20 3-start rates.
Finally, rates are not the reason we participate in game jams, the actual reasons are (at least for me) getting some fun, learning new things, and being a part of an encouraging and engaging community...
for example I learned how much do the small polishes and effects change the overall feel of the game, so in my next game jam I'll focus less on the amount of content, and more on the polishing and visual effects and sounds.....
By the way may game is called "Literally-Endless Runner", I'll be so happy if you take a look at it and give me your opinions :)
See the game's description for more info.

Also consider taking a look at this post :)
Thanks everyone, Cheers :)
Wow! man, thank you for your detailed review, I really appreciate it!
I'd just like you to read the game's description first, it explains some of the points you mentioned :)
Including why the game just cuts and resets when you lose (I know that it is not a good way to do that but that's what my time allowed me to do), I even based my story on that hahah!
The second point is the lives, I totally agree with what you said, but the thing is, that the lives system is a part of a bigger thing that I haven't implemented yet (I plan on polishing the game and publish it as a mobile game).
Also, I plan on adding various obstacles / enemy types, more interactions with the monster chasing you, power-ups, score boosters, and more...
About the sounds and music, the game is atmospheric (supposed to be), this will not be achievable without those, but couldn't add them for the reasons mentioned above...
And finally, thanks again for your great review Marxy , it illustrates some extremely important points from a game-design perspective!
This is some of the progress I made on the game the day right after the submission was closed, just in case you were interested and haven't see it yet :)
Rate my game, post a comment, and get your game rated :)
A modified (more polished) version of my game "Literally-Endless Runner":
- The new polishes are available only in the Android version.
- The WebGL and Windows builds are unchanged (the jam version).
- Read the game's description, please.
So happy that I participated in this jam, the amount of creativity / innovation you showed is amazing! YOU GUYS ROCK(Brackeys)!
