Very impressive work so far! The controls feel solid and using your weapon to platform is a fun concept. I could definitely see how some unique powers could really change how the game feels to play, which is important for metroidvanias. I would love to see the mapped key appear when I can interact with things. I'm interested to see how this game develops!

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed the gameplay!

That's a good suggestion for the visuals. When I get to updating the graphics I will consider doing that.

Hey, thanks for playing!

I'm really glad you enjoyed the game. I've lost more time to "playtesting" than I'd care to admit...

I do plan on working out some better graphics eventually, but I wanted to add a bit more content first, haha.

Thanks for the feedback :)

Thank you for playing!

I'm glad you had fun with it. The limitation was a great reminder about how games don't have to be complicated in order to be fun.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am currently working on adding some additional modes and block ideas to keep gameplay a little more interesting. As a programmer art is always a sticking point, but I'll get around to it eventually, haha.

Yeah, considering this was my first foray into game jams, I learned a lot!

Thank you for your kind words, and for playing!

This is a good start. The shooting feels pretty good. My biggest issue was not being able to know if there were any enemies behind me, so footsteps would help a lot. Keep going!

I liked the idea of dragging different ingredients onto one another to make new ingredients. You could probably develop that into its own game on its own. The hitbox for the bus was very unforgiving, which was a little frustrating.

Pretty good overall, though!

I really loved this!
Super fun variety of weapons (although I just kept maxing out my shotgun until it was firing screen-wiping waves of death) and a decent enemy variety too. Neatly stylized visuals and a very usable UI. Sound design was pretty good too, especially on the rocket. I think it's clever to use Energy as a resource for more powerful weapons, but I found that I was quickly able to trivialize it. My health also got crazy after picking up a lot of life after kill upgrades.

Overall, I'm very happy with this!

Very impressive progress! Nice environments, models, and music. I was especially impressed with the clean and stylized UI. Missing a few sound effects here and there, and I would have liked tooltips for the abilities, but overall I can tell this project has a lot of potential.

Great work!

I enjoyed the variety in enemies and levels. The attacks felt powerful and had good impact. I also appreciated the consistent style across the environments and the characters. I was unsure what the icons at the bottom were initially, so perhaps a small tutorial would help there. Also, the sound effects are good, but I think they could benefit from a small variety of different sounds to mix it up.

Nice job, I had fun!

Wow, nice score!

I'm glad to hear that the main feedback is that people would like to play more, haha.

I'm working on adding more levels, but in the meantime I've updated the main level to provide more ways to bounce, as that's definitely the best part of the game.

Thanks a lot for your feedback and for playing.

Nice job!

Thanks for playing.

Thank you for playing my game!

You raise a very good point about the mouse. I have added the spacebar as a method to fire as well.

Thank you for your kind words, and of course thank you for playing! :)

Thank you for playing!

I do feel that the challenge of aiming is pretty important to the game, but I could definitely imagine a world where I add a powerup that gives you a laser or something similar.

That's a very respectable score!

Thank you for playing and for your feedback. I can definitely make the spacebar work as well.

Thank you very much for playing! I'm glad to hear that people wanted to be able to play it more, so I'm definitely going to keep that in mind for the future.

Building the path was a cool concept. There were a few times where I accidentally restarted the level trying to hit play and that was a bit frustrating, but other than that it was a nice little game.

Cool concept for only needing one button. I think I would have liked if there was an indicator to which character I was meant to be spelling out because if I lost my place it was hard to recover. Very neat!

Nice! When I restart, my score actually carries over from the last attempt, so a little bug there.

I enjoyed that the story involved the hardships of game development, haha. I also think the racing game could be expanded into its own game with some tweaks. Nice work!

My highest score is 21. It's actually pretty challenging to not mix myself up! Simple gameplay, but quite challenging!

I have to admit, the camera spinning around made me quite dizzy. It would be easier to play if only the character spun and not the whole camera.

Pretty nice starting point. I actually think that the swinging mechanic was really cool. I wouldn't mind seeing that become the core element of your platformer if you continue, or maybe use that in a different project!

Ha, very charming premise and style. I got the hang of it after a few tries. Very nice job!

Simple, yet addicting! I enjoy that there's actually a fair bit of strategy that goes into trying to line up the hands in a way that is advantageous for you. Nice work!

I couldn't stop chuckling the whole way through. You'd done a great job making this a witty and charming little experience. The graphics and sound design were stylized and interesting, and the writing was quite funny as well. Super impressive stuff!

I do love a simple, yet challenging puzzle game. The puzzles and timings can be pretty tight at times (I got stuck on level 3 longer than I care to admit) but the groovy soundtrack and clean visuals keep me engaged. Very satisfying to finally complete a level!

Really impressive visuals and sound design. I love the metronome mechanic. Some challenging timings, but I think it's a super clever take on making a platformer with only a single button. Wow!

Thank you for you feedback. I'm very glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you very much for the kind words. They warm my heart!

Ahh, the sweet joys of memory management. Since I never tested it on Safari I'm not super surprised. I will definitely look into it, though. Thanks very much for playing and for the feedback :D

Love the visuals and sound. The levels were quite clever, too.

I love the artwork. The timing can feel a little finnicky, but it's very satisfying to get the good bounces.

A simple, yet very effective puzzle game. Nice work!

Surprisingly difficult game! The boss was a cool surprise.

I had no idea that these vacuums led such stressful lives! Haha, great game.

Ha, super cute art and sounds. Takes me back to playing Dino Runner.
