Hello everyone,

I finally played through all the entries in the jam, and picked my favorite ones. It was very difficult because they were all extremely good. It is not an exaggeration, the quality bar was so high, at first almost half of the games made it to the list.

So, don't be sad because your game didn't make it. That doesn't mean your game wasn't worth playing, every game were enjoyable. But, here are my six absolute favorite, with six honorable mentions:

The museum has been updated with the last version of your game.

I wil do it in a next update tomorrow

The issue has been fixed, sorry for the delay.

And thanks for the map! To be frank I don't have much time to work on the museum this week, so I appreciate that you made the hand drawn map of the museum. Because my hand drawn map look way worse than that.

Sorry for the delay indeed your game was in the game, but the walls were overlapping and the tile your game is was erased. Anyway it is fixed now, you can  check it out : https://toulou.itch.io/museum-of-screens

Hello everyone, the Bitsy exhibition is officially open!

(Re)discover the history of Bitsy with an exhibition featuring games selected by us three, plus all the games from the jam that included a downloadable option. If you forgot to include a downloadable option, post a message down there so I can make a update in the following days.

I wanted to thanks again all the participants, on behalf of us three. Stay tuned in the following days for the conclusion of Bitsy fest: A blog post featuring our favorites games from the jam.

Hope you enjoy the visit!

You can still make a game if you want and post the link down here to be included in the virtual exhibition

The Bisty Fest Jam is finished! Thank you to all the participants! It has been a great jam, with more than 40 entries!

It will take some time for us to go through each entries, and make the virtual exhibition. The grand opening will likely take place tomorrow. I am looking forward to play your games! In case you forgot, put a downloadable option to your entry so it can be included in the virtual museum. One thing, though: I didn't anticipated bitsy games to have sound, so because of limitation of the engines, I will put a version without song of your game. But, a link to your version on Itch will still be available alongside your game.

See you in the following days with the opening of the virtual museum, and our selection of our favorite games!

Hello everyone! You have until the end of the weekend to finish your game! How are you all doing? I'm looking forward to play your games!

As a reminder, our favorite entries in the jam will be featured on the  Museum of Screens blog!

Thanks a lot for your entry in the jam!

Just in case you forgot, if you want your game to be playable in the virtual bitsy exhibition, add a dowloadable option.

Thanks!

Add your html file to the project, give it a different name so there's no conflict, and leave it as a downloadable.

You have to upload the file a second time as a downloadable

Hello everyone! Two weeks have passed since the beginning of the jam, and there are now eight days left! How's everyone doing? I'm looking forward to play all your games!

As a reminder, don't forget to put a downloadable option for your game if you wish to be included on the virtual exhibition.  Your game will be playable directly in the virtual Museum, alongside a  link to your Itch.io page.  I'll send a message to game creators who already published their entries, just in case they forgot.

Hi, sorry for the late answer. You can send me a DM on Twitter, Mastodon or Bluesky. I am very busy and won't be available all weekend, but I'll try to answer you as much as I can.

Hello, the theme is sort of a guideline to inspire you, you are free to explore it the way you like.  There's no  rating for this jam and no winner.

I would however say, if you think you have a good idea for a Bitsy game, it would be better for you to make it outside of the jam, because you might feel constrained by the theme, or the deadline. You can do another game if the theme inspire you, but whatever you decide I would be happy to see your submission :)

Hello, all the informations can be found on the blog post : https://museumofscreens.wordpress.com/2023/08/22/bisty-fest-september-15th-to-oc...

The exhibition will be live at the end of the jam, on october 15th.  All the games featured have been selected by my co-hosts and I, plus all the games that will be made for the jam.

Thanks a lot to everyone who voted, the theme has been picked, it is Museum!

Good luck to everyone who participate!

Hi, I can't speak for all my co-hosts, but personally I would say that it is allowed :)
