hi! yes, if scroll down the comment section or if you check the postmortem post: https://mushroomallow.itch.io/edda-cafe/devlog/284311/edda-cafe-postmortem, you'll see that we've mentioned this novel several times already.
Thank you for playing Kohana, and I'm happy to hear that it resonates with you!
Personally, I've noticed that the expression of feelings through food is more prominent in Japanese cuisine, such as the dedication of certain foods to welcome specific seasons and the significance attached to certain dishes. I've always loved this concept in storytelling, and especially in Kohana, I aimed to incorporate it into the game.
Food elements are present in all of our visual novels. I hope you'll enjoy the other two as well!

That's what Alex wanted to do: to have the courage to tell Mina about his condition while saying good bye to her and wished her for a happy life. But the story happened exactly because he didn't have the courage to do it. He thought it'll be easier for both of them if Mina just hate him and leave him, but it didn't cross his mind that what he did (just broke up with her without telling her anything) ended up putting Mina in years of guilt.
In the end, we wanted to make (sort of) happy ending for both Mina and Alex and hoped that the readers will be satisfied with it. Thank you for playing EDDA Cafe! ^^
Thanks for playing EDDA Cafe! ^^
Taku seems to be the more popular guys instead of the main love interest, Alex XD. To be honest, we don't make a lot of side content for him since we're busy producing our new commercial title at the moment, but who knows, we might make a side story based on EDDA Cafe in the future if there's enough demand for it and since Taku is the waiter of EDDA Cafe, he'll definitely make a come back there.
Hi! Thanks a lot for the wonderful comments! I really appreciate it!
Considering that it's loved by a lot of people, maybe one day we'll make something based on EDDA Cafe, but for now we want to venture to another type of game and a whole different story to give us more experience on game development.
Let us know what you think of our other games, and we will be grateful if you look forward to our new game too! ^^
