Being told that our game is one of the best games that someone have ever played is a very high praise. Thank you for playing EDDA Cafe and taking the time to tell us about it! <3

Hi Sour! Development for Wonder Wandelier is currently halted until further notification. The application for playtester actually has been closed for awhile, but if you're interested in following the game's development, I suggest follow one of our social, either Bluesky or X.
I'm terribly sorry for the wait 😓 I've been neglecting this itchio page since the development halted. I'll update the page today!
Aahh I'm sorry but I didn't save the crash report! 😢 I can try triggering the crash again when I have the time to replay the game.
I'm also not sure if it's intentional, but I remember I got this weird visual effect, like pixelated censor on the character's face, whenever the sprite change expression. Not always, but pretty often. I'll see if I can capture it when I replay the game.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! The bug reports are especially helpful. I'll add your suggestion for the walkthrough right away and will share the reports with the programmer afterward!
To answer your question, yes, the game is still in the Prologue stage, and we hope to continue production once we've gathered enough funds. The MC-Theo relationship will definitely be more fleshed out in the full game, but I should mention that the stories of the other characters are intriguing as well 😉
I really appreciate that you've played our games since EDDA Cafe! I sincerely hope you continue to support us in the future!
Hey thank you! I also just saw your post about the game on Twitter! Some updates have already been planned that hopefully can be rolled out near the end of this month, but the finished game might take a while. The announcement for it will be on our social media, so please give us a follow so won't miss it!
Can you check again if the game can be downloaded now? After I uploaded the 1.0.1 version, I forgot to check the 'executable for Windows', so that might be the thing that prevent you to download the game. It's already checked now. FYI, the file is compressed in zip format.
Terribly sorry for the inconvenience!
Definitely need some technical feedback on the tutorial and investigation minigame of our mystery game, Death & Faeology! Really appreciate the help!
I believe our submission, Death and Faeology, can fit nicely in Mystery / Thriller category!
Hi again cervineprince! I just found out the problem that prevent you to install the game properly, which is me using rar format instead of zip to compress the file. I've uploaded the correct format now. I'm sorry for the inconvenience! Please try downloading the game again, and let me know if it works this time.

I'm sorry you felt that way about my edits! TAT
But I assure you, you're not being selfish by following through with your own writing! You have your own vision, and your version has its own charm -especially the action scenes with the shooting mechanic- it felt fresh to see how it was implemented. I think for your first short story, you were doing great, considering you were sick by the time we develop this (hope you're feeling well now!)
I'm happy to help, and looking forward to see more of your creation Yui!
The amount of polish in this short VN is INSANE. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING—from the game page, writing, UI, music, art, and VO—are tied together in a beautiful harmony. Even with just one sprite and one background, I'm amazed that Ing managed to cleverly use every element of the game to capture your attention from start to finish.
If this is what Ing could make in a 10 days jam, I can't imagine all the love and passion she poured for her main project; Of Sense and Soul.
This is such a lovely, heart-touching short narrative game. I was at the top of the stairs when the narrative hit me and I gave up and chose to look back. This reminds me of all the past and future good byes I have to say to every cat in my life. Art, song, story, and narrative design are all on point for such a short game.
I came here to play a game about cat, not to get my eyes all teary so thanks for the feels I guess?? 😢
hi! yes, if scroll down the comment section or if you check the postmortem post: https://mushroomallow.itch.io/edda-cafe/devlog/284311/edda-cafe-postmortem, you'll see that we've mentioned this novel several times already.
Thank you for playing Kohana, and I'm happy to hear that it resonates with you!
Personally, I've noticed that the expression of feelings through food is more prominent in Japanese cuisine, such as the dedication of certain foods to welcome specific seasons and the significance attached to certain dishes. I've always loved this concept in storytelling, and especially in Kohana, I aimed to incorporate it into the game.
Food elements are present in all of our visual novels. I hope you'll enjoy the other two as well!
