This was so good!!! This is just what I want to be able to make some day. Great job, and can't wait for the new DLC! <3

Aww, thanks so much! :)

I did leave it up to chance for the most part, and would have liked to balanced it better. I'll be sure to work on balance in the future!

And thanks so much for the compliment on my writing, it meant a lot to me! I was trying really hard to showcase it! :D

I wanted the player to be able to do that, but I ran out of time. I chose to make three characters instead, one with male pronouns, one with female, and one who was gender neutral. Polaris, the space prophet, was gender neutral, while Alexandria, the space officer, used female pronouns.

Thanks for letting me know! I'll be sure to keep that in mind for future games. :)

Well made! I did get a little bored after upgrading to my second rocket though, as I felt like I wasn't in any danger of the bandits. After getting a second cannon, I was blasting through all of the asteroids. I didn't feel the need to buy a third one. Maybe if there were some asteroids that were just a bit more tough towards the end? Something to make the player stay on their toes the entire game.

This was just the right mix of challenging and fun! I enjoyed puzzling out the "perfect way" to pass the levels. I was a bit confused on the level where you start with no meat, because I didn't realize that the enemies would go back to their post if they lost sight of you. The music was perfect in my opinion. I was on the edge of my seat when the chase music started.

This was so good! It was short, sweet, and wonderfully captivating. The music was well chosen and used with maximum effect. I found everything pretty easy to read, except for the links on the writer and blacksmith's story. All in all, you did a wonderful job! Can't wait to see what else you create. :)

This was a super cute game! I thought the controls were a little touchy, but it added to the difficulty in a good way. The music and sound effects were engaging, and the art style was very nostalgic. Great work!

I'm glad you liked the art! I don't know that a playable butterfly character would fit into this game, but I'll keep it in mind for the next one I make. :)

Thanks so much for the feedback! I definitely plan on making a full version of this at some point, and I'll be sure to workshop the controls some more.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I do plan to make a final version of this, as what you played was supposed to be a first level of sorts. I had a lot more planned that would also tie it into the theme better, but I ended up biting off more than I could chew. Definitely something I plan to keep in mind for my next jam.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I completely forgot about adding boundaries, definitely going on my list of things to remember!

Thanks so much for the feedback! I didn't even think about which way the player had to move in order to progress the level. I'll be sure to keep this in mind as I continue to make games.
