Ok Soo uhhhmmmmmm i found this game while i was checking on other games to study what do they do wrong and what do they do right to see if its yay or nay you get me?

This game isn't good, It's just... how do i say this without hurting you? bad, it's bad

My main issue is the progression 

My first 6 minutes, which, on game development, are really important since they exist to let the player know the premise and make them be invested on it, on those 6 minutes, all i did was being stuck on the first part of the game struggling to know where to go, there was NO indication that going to the right on the hallway lead to another room

Which brings me to the next part

The use of sparkles 

Either you use the sparkle things to guide you or you don't, make up your mind

There's ALOT of places that could benefit of having those sparkles that simply don't have them

The writing...

I didn't finish the game, i don't even like Dandy's World that much, it's... fine, although it drags out for long, sometimes, like with the moon guy's (I don't actually know his name) dialogue where he and Sprout just "..." eachother, not even providing ANYTHING and just being a roadblock on the way.

The soundtrack?

Although using Undertale music isn't "wrong" by any means (don't let Materia Collective fool you, Toby Fox allows it), using it, in it's "raw" form (no changes made to it) makes the game don't feel unique, you could have done better you could even soundfont swapped it or something

You know it reminds me of an Undertale fangame called Undertale II: Revenge of the Robots, ANOTHER game made in RPGMaker which i really love due to his humor parodying another games, this game made me singlehandedly appreciate that game more

The animations?

Every single character suffers from goofy wobbling when walking north and south, i thought this was just a mistake for Sprout but every character suffers from it? they move a little to the left and right while on those conditions

The grammar?

Atleast it isn't a typostorm like ANOTHER dandy's world game

I give this game 4/10

Godot??? I know alot about Python on general due to me working with it, soo gd script would be easy for me, tho i never used Godot in my entire life

This game is impressive...

For Scratch's standards

Not to sound mad, but the game feels sluggish to play, even by skipping text, which is bad, because the game is pretty good in terms of art and that!

The dialogue is... Charming, sometimes, I'd recommend not making 2024 memes focus on some parts of the dialogue (Gigi's gamblecore joke), since those will, inevitably, die out. making the jokes not be funny anymore, some parts are funny, and i am saying this as an avid dandy's world disliker and the one who pissed on Qwelver's carpet (/j on the last part)

The yapstro achievement looks like pain, paired with the sluggish gameplay, the problem with this is that this is an achievement, which, you are forced to do for the 100% completion it doesn't feel fun, if it was like, on a "shadow achievements" tab it would make sense, since the game doesn't expect you to get the achievement 

it's not a horror game i would call it a comedic horror at best

The game is really hurt by being a scratch game

Darn, i wish i wasn't on my break but i would happily agree to work with you to rebuild the game in Ren'py, which, although it would make the game a visual novel and NOT a side scroller, would make it more fun overall.

I give this game a 6/10, also i really loved the Henry Stickmin references spread throughout they give the game charm and don't feel like if the game was saying "OH HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THIS 'GAMBLING' MEME? IT'S SOO FUNNY!" (Gigi), since they are visual gags, they don't tell you the joke, you SEE the joke, also btw IRON LUNG??

First of all, the reason your game is popular is just because it's uhh... Dandy's World, like you didn't start from the ground up or anything you just made a fangame and you are comparing it to a recently created franchise

Also i don't think your artstyle is ugly it's just not my taste the game would be better if it was made on another medium, like, i wouldn't read it if it was like a webcomic but i am pretty sure it would be more enjoyable albeit less inmersive 

Sometimes i really get grumpy and talk like my first comment that's me without my daily coffee 

Anyways if you can remake this, do it, you could send me every string of text to correct the typos

Hello, It's me, Fluffin, and, sorry for getting too mad, BUT I THINK YOUR GAME STINKS 

Like, the game feels like your average RPG Maker MZ game, I have to admit, twisting the battle mechanic into a baking minigame is fun, and a little bit of text is really charming 

I know, i might have the words "I hate dandy's world" ingrained into my mind, but that bias aside, this fangame of it isn't that good 

First, the game feels like a slog to play, you don't know where to go, and i found myself walking around the first few rooms not knowing where the ekevator was

And, let's play a little game

Take a shot every typo you see on this game

I didn't count them all but i would imagine you would be taking deadly amounts of alcohol 

Get a proofreader!

I could tell you "you tried" but i am not a fan of mediocrity, this isn't you unable to make a good game, you could make a good game, but didn't try to, because your art, despite looking slightly awful to me (I hate this art style, sorry for being grumpy) looks pretty... not good in my opinion but it looks like you put effort into it, maybe if you don't know alot of coding you could make an animation instead, or a comic, or select any medium instead of your weakness, games

Also, the pacing feels off, like, it looks like you'll be baking alot because the baking mechanic got introduced, then it becomes a literal treasure hunt, and then buttonmashing, and then a slowburn horror game where you move like a slog, then some chase with a mechanic you were never told about, if you told me Astro said something about the mechanic way before the chase i could have told you that was great foreshadowing of a mechanic, and i don't talk about the rest because the astro chase is soo disgustingly difficult i couldn't even beat it, even with an autoclicker to mash Z for me, and that's the first twisted you encounter

"Why are you playing it if you don't like it?" Because if i hated on it before playing you would say i should have given it a try!

Listen, the world would enter global peace if you decided to make an actual good game 

The day you come back to this comment, and give me a notice on how the game has a update/remake drastically improving it, that will be the day the sun rises, the day there's a rainbow in the morning, the day an eclipse happens, but before that non-existent day arrives, this game stinks

I don't blame you and i think this game had a very chaotic development, even worse than the real dandy's world, soo i give you extra points to be loyal to the real deal 

I would rather be locked in a room with Qwelver, lead developer of Dandy's World, than play this again, because with Qwelver, despite me hating her, atleast it would be slightly more fun than playing this game, but the bar is on the fricking floor soo it doesn't matter!

You know what? Being with Qwelver AND RoxSerpent, co-developer, locked in a room, would be still more fun than playing this again

Sorry for the rant but it stinks!

Listen, you can't cover your ears and ban me, i think you are talented but this is just wasted potential, you should remake this

I give this a 4/10, 3 of those are pity points, and the 4th is only there because it's an even number and because atleast this game doesn't have bad people at charge
