"Harsh", from the person who made "Mona Lisa Builder" 😉 I thought your game was brilliant btw

Do you plan to keep working on it after the jam? Either way, you've definitely earned a follow.

Also, did you do all the models yourself, or use an asset pack from somewhere? I tried doing some mech modeling a bit ago and came up with some decent stuff, but it took a while to figure out how to create interesting shapes while maintaining planar face

This was a lot of fun. I remember Zachtronics including a minigame similar to this in Last Call BBS, but that was in 2D and a lot less entertaining. It would be cool to see features like posing the models after they're finished, or being able to connect parts to the wrong places (accidentally or on purpose). I could see myself playing that for hours lol. Like working on your build in Armored Core but only worrying about how fresh it looks instead of the stats

I think this is the best implementation of this mechanic that I've seen in the jam so far. I was afraid to do something like this because I figured it would be a common interpretation, but you nailed it. And all the artwork is really adorable. I want to keep playing as the wizard lad!

This is incredible, thank you!

Thank you! I think the problem that people have been facing is that the target scale is set differently than the sprite size, but the in game scale may be slightly off from the manual one, which is why you need to make things smaller than you would expect. We appreciate the feedback!

This was absolutely my favorite flash game back in the day. I like the innovation of tricking fish that are chasing you into eating each other.

I noticed while playing that the music seemed to start, stop, change volume, or switch to a different song seemingly randomly

We appreciate you taking the time to check it out and leave feedback! There's definitely some balancing and tweaking that needs to happen, but in the lead up to the deadline, we were mostly focusing on having something to be able to submit.

okay, never mind. I can definitely see how the time limit adds the element of forcing the player to act aggressively instead of running away, and how swarming the player would essentially disable the main mechanic of building up momentum to deal higher damage.

I love this. Really creative and compelling design and mechanics. Even at the beginning when I was losing constantly, I wanted to keep going to figure it out. Once I got on a roll, it really felt like a solid arcade style game where you were fighting to keep surpassing your top score. I felt like the timer didn't really add much, and would love a version where you could just keep going while swarmed by an increasing number of enemies

Yeah, it definitely has some balancing issues. Thank you for your feedback tho. Our audio designer really nailed it.

We absolutely agree with you. We were running up against the deadline for the jam and didn't really have time to balance it properly. Thank you for giving it a shot tho!

I can't believe how long it took me to even acknowledge the yellow gate in the last level T_T Such good design, and style... everything. This is my favorite of the jam so far, and it's criminal that you only have 3 ratings so far

Please make this into a complete game! I love it

This has major Surgeon Simulator vibes, and I love it

This is incredible.
