Just something to signal : The Bomb token freezes the game on explosion !

Hahaha I just found the new item, I thought it would have been just named "Ale" hihi Having it named after me is very cute x3

It also made me realise that the items which require a specific combination are what makes the game quite strategic and fun (like the Cake/Torch) combined with the Eyeball/Mushroom/Regular-Rigged-Coins. It makes you use your brain and think about tactics.

On the other hand : items like Shovel/Bolo are both too straight-forward and too powerful.

The first time I played I only used them and got to lvl 50 super easily without thinking much.

I just played a lvl 64 run focusing more on Rope/Cake and it was way more fun.

So maybe "Heal 3" on Shovel/Bolo should be insanely rare or never exist and just Heal 1-2 per Head/Tail OR the Shovel/Bolo should cost even more to force the player to use the "combinations" items more !

Anyway still very fun ^w^

Also ! There might be too much life, at lvl 50 I was getting all my items so fast I just skipped some lvls without concern.

Maybe an item to bet in advance what the result might be ? :D

like "In the NEXT flip : Heal 2 per Heads / Take 2 damage per Tails"

And maybe some "last hope" items like "Take 1 damage to reroll the coins" but it might be too specific

This is actually kinda cool !

It just misses an indication about having the press "enter" to start a round (it was a bit unclear at first)

I also feel like it should get more challenging over time (and maybe unlocking some of the item in between runs to survive longer each time) : ultimately making wave 100 more difficult than wave 10 per say.

Other than that, very cool concept ^^

This was AMAZING !!! I'm not the kind to do a second replay right after finishing a game/novel but I sure will even before Disc1 because I missed a lot of achievements and (seeing some pictures) even some mechanics haha

EDIT: Really I'm baffled that no one ever let's-played it on youtube ; It's the most polished Dark-Menhera/Breakcore game, let alone visual novel in existence ! And I'm glad something like this exists !!

Can't wait for Disk1 :D

I've managed to get to 8800+ years on the 3-villages map (I optimized a lot !!!) and then, while attempting another game, I discovered a (pretty easy) infinite strat' :

On the 3-villages map you can put 2 forests next to the bottom village, then surround these 2 forests with 5 lakes, nuke the other 2 villages... and you're done ^^" I've stopped the run at 10k+ years

There's only enough space on this map only so maybe removing a tile could help nerf it ?


Anyway, a very cool game !! :D


EDIT : Also, to achieve my legit run, I noticed that lightning's damage scaling is inherited by settlers of a previously nuked village (ex: on you first village, nuke it when it reaches lvl 2. Do it a second time. Let it spread a settler. Wait for the settler to reach lvl 3 with 9999 resources. Nuke it.... aaaand yeah this maxed out village died one shot) I guess it may be a bug haha

Fighting game AI might not be the hardest to code, they aren't the easiest either x)
I wish you good luck because even if the game is still quite empty, it has all we need, very very nice ideas and animations and feels actually good to play ! I'm really curious of what it will become !

There might be a lot a things hidden in this game, I don't know what I did but I summoned La+ and the easter egg was quite funny ^^

I found quite a massive bug (hopefully very easy to fix) : If you pause the game while an enemy bullet is on screen, the bullet animation don't stop, go through everything without damaging and disappear. Quite a way to cheese some boss haha (works on last Maya encounter + the explosion of the smoke-like mob, not all enemies in fact)

I'll continue messing with pause menu and frame perfect inputs for a bit

PS: I don't remember if I also mentionned in the final questionaire the Pistol quick-firing one time out of 3, even when waiting between the shots

The other day I finished the Demo with 100% completion in 2/3 hours (the climbing challenge where very nice btw !) and because I wanted more, I took the challenge to speedrun the Demo so that anyone can join and have fun while waiting for the full game ^^

I just did 10:57 according to the end-game screen (8:21 according to the savefile but I guess this doesn't count all the deaths ? My parkour wasn't perfect haha - aside from spikes, I died once against the final boss)

Someone want a challenge ? x3

Me too ! I don't think the devs were betting much on this one but it worked amazingly and is still in the top listed when searching for these genre in any site.

I don't think a sequel will happen tho but we can hope !!

Would it be possible to buy/download the OST somewhere ?

Sometimes I boot up the game only to let the menu theme play in loop haha

Each time I hear it I have such nostalgy, I feel like completing it in hardcore all over again x3

It will help me wait for Rusted Moss haha ^w^

Je viens à peine de commencer et je vais edit ce commentaire à chaque étape.


Je suis un grand bouffeur de VN Denpa/Horreur que je lis d'habitude en Anglais (mis à part Higurashi traduit par notre bien aimé pbsafran) et je constate dès le début une grande qualité graphique et rythmique, avec tout ce qu'il faut de contrôle, j'espère me retrouver surpris comme dans les meilleurs ^^

Me neither xD I loved non-bullet-hell Touhou games but it might be time for me to try it haha (I'll also look at other faxdoc games huhu)

Exactly what I was searching !

(The first time I was comfronted to spikes, I would have been so sad to hurt the Slime that I think my moves for a minute... and get rekt in 5 secondes haha hopefully the lose animation is quite funny x3 I'm a bit on edge today haha)
