Turns out when I updated the link a while ago it only updated the visual text and not the actual expired link that was there. Thanks for the report. Probably missed out on a bunch of new fellas cause of this lol. And yeah most of the info and progress is in the discord and a tiny bit in the steam community stuff.

Check the discord if you care to see progress and updates. Thanks for playing.

Oh i forgot to fix the link on here. Was only up to date on the steam page. It should work now, thanks.

The "door building kits" are only to repair broken doors. Doors can be broken by bashing them with heavy objects (you'll definitely hear it if it works).

Yeah the next build focuses on bug fixes mostly, along a few new immerse focused things. Check out the progress log on the discord if you're interested. Thanks again.

Candle girl currently just gives you money for dust with nothing more. Haven't done a pass for dust collector reward tiers yet. Her intro mentions trying to find cracked walls so look closely at walls that can break. I thought they were super obvious but I'm making the game and apparently they aren't at all. Big hint is they're all upstairs atm. Thanks for asking.

Just a basic file browser in read-only. Nothing funny going on. I might add a warning or something cause streamers understandably hate the surprise lol

I don't remember if I set a special reward per npc type or if it's always cheese. Might just not spawn anything but it should. If you kill them by punching with heavy items (they're weak to blunt damage) they should drop bones which currently do nothing. Sorry

F5 and F9 for quicksave and quickload. I thought I had these in the control  rebinding menu but they're not there at all lol sorry. Thanks for playing.

Which one? They're all still on itch so I could enable an old one but they all have less stuff.

Hit the tape on top of the box quickly with a knife or scissors (or just throw them at it) and then you can open the box by using it in your hand. I'll make it so the scissor "open/close" cuts it properly cause it's not intuitive enough at the moment.

Agreed on everything except the UI which I want to keep in your eyelid menu just for immersion purposes (even though it is 100% inconvenient lol). Had a ton of fun watching your playthrough, thanks for taking the time.

The feature in question was probably the Splatoon-like world painting (blood/water/dirt/burn effects) which can be pretty neat. While the characters and dialogues are still placeholders, there's a whole new tutorial, simple puzzles to do in the house and patented Rat AI as well as clones which can be pretty funny. Might not be worth a whole featured video on your channel but a playthrough will surely get a chuckle or two. Thanks for checking in!

I'm still working on systems and mechanics so the actual story and definitive characters/storyline aren't done (although I have plans for them ofc). I'm hoping to have a steam store page by the end of the year. Thanks for playing!

Not at the moment but there is a key somewhere for the attic. Use it by holding down on the key in one hand and the door in the other and use them together.

Man this is weird. I'm on an i7-2600 gtx 1080, 8gb ddr3 ram and I don't get even a hint of a dip anywhere in the editor nor the build. Thanks for the report I'll see what I can do.

Sadly the big blue boy doesn't come back so he currently just scams you. Various pills you can get from people or buy online are definitely on the menu for future updates though.

Look for a clue in the closet of the living/tv room.

The only money maker is the anime game website in the computer's browser. It's a clicker game that you need to invest a bit of time in and it'll make you money. There is also real physical money to be found but it can only be given to NPCs at the moment. Thanks for playing!

Glad you like the new feature. Positive or negative your feedback will always be welcome. Thanks for tuning in once again.

While I did fix a few bugs, I'd suggest waiting for the next one in a few weeks if you intend to make a video since there's not much more content. I'm planning on adding a very cool feature soon though. Thanks for playing.

In the 20_Q2_V1 version, the dialogues can get buggy if you talk to the Succubus in the computer room. Otherwise you should be able to talk to other people if you're close enough. Should be fixed in the next version which focuses mostly on bug fixes. Thanks for playing.

If you have the key in one hand, hold that hand's mouse button, do the same while holding the door with the other (free) hand, press E to use the key on the door. I've done it and seen it work for others so it *should* work. Thanks for returning to the game after all this time.

Update log 22: Nerfed shitting to a maximum of a single metric cube per room

The lady camera bug should be fixed in the update that came a few hours later (v01). The lightning bug should've been fixed even before that but I'll check again It possibly happens if you skip over the character's line too quickly. For the window thing you didn't do anything wrong. I would've had to implement another feature to do exactly what I wanted but I figured it'd be kinda funny if nothing happened and you just stood there naked. Given how buggy the release can be, that decision was not for the best. Thanks for following up on the game, glad you enjoyed it.

Definitely wouldn't make a new video over it since the dialogues haven't changed much. There're phones and a new character but it's mostly under the hood stuff. Do note the build is less stable than I'd like though. Thanks for asking.

I'll be posting an update this Sunday most likely. Dialogues won't change much, but lots of new little features and fixes. Thanks for playing!

The game still has a long way to go and this demo was to showcase the current state of the game, although many improvements have been made already with all the feedback I got. You can follow me here, on tumblr or youtube @neetdev for future updates. Thanks for asking.

Nowhere. Keys exist in the game files and technically work but I didn't make use of them for the current demo.

No promises but I wouldnt mind ultimately adding a "pure sim" mode as it would essentially just mean removing a bunch of spooky stuff from the main version and i feel the gameplay can be satisfying on its own to a degree.
 Thanks for the feedback

Glad you enjoyed the interactivity and could see the vision for the project. Hopefully I can give you more video worthy content. Thank you for playing.

Based on your input I reworked the tutorial poster a lot. While it's meant to be a "demo" tutorial, it should still be spotless in how it teaches the weird controls. I also fixed the camera when using doors. Thanks for the feedback, very appreciated and your game looks lovely.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write this up, very useful. The doors opening direction is something I have to sit down and fix. Attic door and the one in the living room next to the TV are indeed locked, need to add a sound effect. The spider actually does slow you as you get closer but i need to trigger the visual webs that would make the slow movement make sense. I'll add settings for the next demo, it is indeed a very much needed feature.

Clicking on a gold card would brick the game. Very cool look and feel, maybe add torches on the sides as you go down the dungeons levels. Keep it up.

Holy hell I'm dying. I didn't think it would happen with one but then two. Thanks a lot for the video and I'll fix that movement.

And I thought the rain could be heard from anywhere. Thanks for the feedback, very appreciated.
