This game is very polished :O nice work! It's a bit too hard for me though, I had to reset lv 2 over and over because the jumping boxes kept falling off the platform xD

You even made the art during the jam, that's sick! Well done.

PS To make the music persist through the scene transitions you could use a static instance for your audio manager and use "dontdestroyonload".

Yes, you're right, in hindsight these controls would make it more challenging too ^^ Thanks for playing!

Good point! We lost track of that

You're so right :D Thanks for the feedback and for playing!

Try using the explosion radius on projectiles 2 and 3 I mentioned to Kinggra to your advantage ;)

And thanks for playing!

Tip: projectiles 2,3 and 4 have an explosion radius. Each one a little bigger than the other. We sadly didn't have enough time to make that clear by adding explosions though :/ Thanks for playing!

So funny xD
The controls were difficult for me though, having to use the right hand for up and down, and the left hand for changing modes was pure chaos for me :p. Using W S (Z S) for up down and Q (A) or E for switching modes would've been more natural to me. And then perhaps the mouse button or space to shoot.

I liked the "story" buildup and the suspense you made with the music. Awesome!

Charming entry! Here's some things that'd make the game clearer for the player:

  • The color of the speed boost is almost the same as the color of the enemies, it's quite confusing ^^
  • This was probably made in Unity, seeing you used the default camera background color? :D Perhaps next time you could look up some color schemes online to make everything work together better (just google "color scheme"), it's not a lot of work and does so much to the overall experience

Apart from that, it's pretty straight forward, snappy controls, which I like ^^

Cool game! A tip, start the timer after the player has read the instructions. In the beginning I was only putting cows in the bin, didn't realize it had to be different species ^^ And he didn't register my chicken. Must've been a rogue chicken.

Overall the physics and controls work great! Maybe next time you can put the controls on the UI HUD as a reminder for the player?

Nicely done, putting some story in the game ^^
I tried to move left in the second level, though there was a collider in the way, I couldn't get to the second platform from the top.
Overall, lots of content for such a short timespan. Perhaps next time you could decrease scope and put a little more time in debugging/testing?

You should've defaulted the audio to full volume, because people are missing out on a super enjoyable tune ^^

Like other People mentioned, a Dash ability would make the game more engaging. I don't know if it would still be necessary to boost the movement speed, since the playground isn' that large.

You mentioned this was the first time you made an AI. Did you learn to make this AI during the jam? If so, nice one :D

Good presentation in your menu! The plane's controls are super glide-y, which makes Sense, since it's in the air and stuff.. Though I can't survive for that long :p

Nicely polished, contained game! It seems like you knew exactly what scope would fit the 48h limit. Same as everyone, I was dodging the asteroïds xD

Hi, the mood you set with the garden and the frogs, and the chill music is nice ^^
That dog's eyes though :p A tip for next jams, try and make it so the player can run behind the trees, the collider should only be the part of the tree that is planted in the ground :)
Also it wasn't clear for me what my health was, and what the "kid frog"'s health was xD If you have the time, feel free to check out our game too ^^

Hi, good game design! I like the fact that you remember the last platform the player fell off and restart from there. Though if you fall down on another platform.. yeah, it has a certain "getting over it" feel, which can be a good thing :D
The movement controls are pretty slippery (which might have been intentional?); it makes it pretty hard to get past the first part, getting the grappling hook.

Thanks for the feedback ^^ You're spot on btw :p
The RMB skill doesn't have as much force, so if you move forward while pressing it, it'll not go far. If you stand still, it goes pretty far.
Hitting one of those kills an enemy instantly

Sadly, I don't think it's allowed to change the build we submitted :/

The combination of killing monsters and figuring out the puzzle keeps it fresh. Perhaps you could do something extra like keep track of a score between the levels for the player to try and get even better?

Nice sprite art, sublime game design, responsive controls and chill audio ^^.  Good entry!

Dude. You scared the hell out of me. Especially the bad ending popup :D

Hi, well done, very good game, no bugs, lots of levels, nice graphics, and the song is really good, fits the style of game! The only thing I'd change (you'll see it coming :p ) is the storytelling. It's lines of text between every level, I quickly started skipping through them after 3 levels. I do like the fact that there ís a story though ^^. But for such a short time, this is awesome. Should get more ratings definitely.

Hi, some feedback:

  • Having to give input to show the "fate", going to the next level and such, slows down the pace.
  • You could do the same thing with less different buttons, if you keep the sequence of the game in memory, like "create fate", "next level" and "place token" could be the same button I think
  • I like that you add multiple fates on top of each other to increase difficulty
  • The visuals and music create a certain atmosphere from the get go, well done :)

Hey, just played your game, some constructive feedback:

  • Your groundcheck (for the jump) can be a bit larger, it'd play nicer ^^
  • Nice art :)
  • Rewind works well
  • I personally found the movement a bit too fast or slippery, but that can be part of the difficulty!

Dude, awesome game! Simple, but solid mechanics and well thought out levels!
