In what way does your game fit the theme?
You can rewind position with r button, like brackeys tutorial :)

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
i made all assets by myself, about code. i saw your tutorial and expand the rewind function with rewind limit bar (rewind time), so. player need to fast complete the game without doing something useless. sorry my english is bad wkwk :v

The cat is moving way too fast, it made the controls very slippery. Platforming is extremely difficult and quite frustrating to play.

But the rewind mechanic is great, and the sprites were nice.

Also, I recommend adding some/any sort of sound/music, having a soundless game is quite jarring to a player. You don't need to make sounds/music yourself, you can try getting free sounds and music online, or use sfxr for a nice sound generator.

Anyway, good work on the game.

The good:

  • the level design is pretty good, although there are some cases where if you stay in one of the low platforms for a while you cant get up to your previous location because the rewind is limited. consider making rewind unlimited, technically computers have a lot of memory these days so it shouldn't be a problem
  • The sprites are well done, the platforms are clear.

The bad:

  • Player movment feels too fast, a lot of the time im just slipping off the edge and falling.
  • Try implementing coyote jump. looks like you have a single raycast going down for the floorcheck, try a shape cast.
  • looks like you were going for a pixel artstyle, so in the texture options remove texture filtering. It ill give you the pixel artstyle you were going for and not the blurred sprites that you have going on.

I can only agree on this.

Cute little pet-linke thing you made :D.

Hey, just played your game, some constructive feedback:

  • Your groundcheck (for the jump) can be a bit larger, it'd play nicer ^^
  • Nice art :)
  • Rewind works well
  • I personally found the movement a bit too fast or slippery, but that can be part of the difficulty!
