Procedural generation exists in many forms. In this case, the generation was mapping the player's "firing" to musical notes that would be aurally appealing and also sound like jazz, based on the amount of time between their shots. Would have liked to do more with it.

Glad you liked it! Because the jam was a limited amount of time, I ended up doing the enemy animation controller, movement, combat, and level design from scratch in the last 5 hours before submitting it. There's some bugs, like their animation going back into the attacking loop after they die.

Also didn't get a chance to add some usability stuff like a notification sfx when you land hits or damage numbers. Those would help you see that you're actually doing damage. 

I'm going to keep updating it, but I needed a little break to work on my other game. In the long run, I want to make the demons dance after they "die", having been converted by the power of jazz. ;)
