I died before I even started the game, and I didn't even remember the clue, 10/10. But seriously though, that was a fun game to play through. Being able to go back to the previous room before dying is a great feature to have (especially with how much I was dying lol). I loved Lydia's character design. Great work!

Right off the bat, great UI. My jaw dropped immediately after clicking on settings lol. The voice acting is extremely fitting and is very well done. I loved the art and the story was definitely pulling me in. Amazing work!

The music throughout the game was great! The story was interesting and kept me engaged in trying to figure out what was really going on in the world. I definitely had to redo Gus several times to get to that 4th (true?) ending though lol. I did have some bug/issues, but I think they were all mentioned by other users already. Good work!

I haven't gotten that ending yet, but I'll give it a shot. I'll take a look at House in Hellworld once I get a chance to. Looking forward to seeing a polished ver. for this one!

The writing for this tackled the topics of anxiety, relationships, and communication very well. While I can't relate to everything that was depicted, the ones that I could relate to felt fairly accurate. The art was unique and the camera and character movements felt very smooth and natural. I loved the music used throughout the game.

Alright, some of those jumpscares definitely got me lol. The build up and tension with the zooms and everything felt really well done. I love the direction you took with the story, and that's all I'll say cause I don't want to spoil it for anyone :) Great Job!

I just recently learned about the Darien Gap from a video and I think your game does a great job depicting how treacherous that region can be. Good work!

The overall atmosphere of the game was very well done. I loved the art style and the dynamic camera movements. I had to take a second to appreciate the little dream sequence since the visuals and music worked together so well. I'm looking forward to seeing how the complete game will turn out. Great job!

Had a chance to play this with our game jam team and man did we mess up quick. We really liked the dynamic movements for the characters and scenes along with some of the subtle foreshadowing that became more apparent after our first run. The tension and build up was done really well with the atmosphere, music, and sfx. We all had fun playing through your game! Well done!

Hi everyone, thanks for all the feedback so far! I haven't really been replying to comments, but know that I do read everything and have been forwarding comments so that those on the team who are not as active on itch.io can see them as well.  I'm going to have to find some time to try out some of the other submissions, but anyways, enjoy all the Spooktober games!

Hey, just dropping by to let you know that our group used some of your music for the "Spooktober 6th Annual Visual Novel Jam". Thanks for allowing use with a CC4.0 license! Here's the link if you'd like to check it out: https://noodledonut.itch.io/spirit-driver

Hello! I just cleaned up one of the docs that we used if you'd like to see all of the routes/options. It's still super messy, but it should give you a good idea of how to go about it. Hopefully it isn't missing anything important, but feel free to ask any questions if you need help with something.

Nox, one of our artists, wanted to share some extra doodles with you on X but didn't want to @ you since your profile was private. On their behalf, enjoy lmao:

Thanks for the offer, but we're currently already looking into another game jam so we might not have too much time to continue work on this game. We also don't really have a means to compensate them at this time. Appreciate the thought, though!

Thanks! We're still doing a little bit of bug testing and dialogue fixes, but it's getting there!

Hey, thanks for all the feedback!

There definitely wasn't much music as we couldn't really figure out what fit the best, so we opted more for background noise instead. That would be a big improvement, though.

I'm not entirely sure if we would be continuing this in the near future, but hey, you never know right?

Glad you enjoyed the game! We definitely wanted to keep as much as your text as possible and it's good to know that you like the changes we made to it. Thanks again and good luck with your future projects!

Hey, just wanted to let you know that our group used your game for the "Fix the Worst Visual Novels" Jam. Thanks for letting us modify your game with the green wrench! Here's the link if you'd like to check it out: https://noodledonut.itch.io/this-is-another-villianess-otome-isekai

Stayed up until 6 AM last night trying to add finishing touches but this is great news lol. Thanks for the extension.
