The game was really good up until a certain point and then it just jumped the shark; Sally immediately going into Kien's apartment and grabbing him by the neck after her call with the locksmith came out of nowhere. It broke the immersion and took me out of the story. That's just not how people behave in the real world.

I understand her getting angry at him, maybe even going over to his place to give him a piece of her mind (although that seems unwise after what she just learned on the phone), but for her to start choking him out appears unhinged and goofy. Maybe if you want to put a scene like that in the game it should occur for later after a few more incidents of Kien showing problematic behavior. Everything up to this point has characterized Sally as someone who wants to avoid conflict, not a person who resorts to violence when right away.

Edit: I've read some of the comments on here and found out the game is complete. It really gives the impression of being a demo. I would seriously advise working on the ending a bit. It just doesn't feel complete, even for a cliffhanger.

(spoilers)

One criticism I have is that the sister's suicide felt kind of abrupt. While it is possible for someone to end their shortly life after a single traumatic event, what seems more likely is there would be other factors at play. If the teacher had some sort of blackmail over her, maybe a photograph or video taken during the assault, then the victim would feel much more trapped and likely to take drastic measures. Another option would be if the sister was shown to struggle with depression prior to the assault, maybe due to the loss of her mother and unfortunate life circumstance, then it would make sense for it to be the final push.

why he done killed little meow meow man. he should have just killed the teacher

The game looks really good and the only advice I have is to further update the UI. Moving fully away from the default ren'py look will give the game an extra feeling of professionalism and uniqueness.

I'm sorry, I'm not spending $10 when the art looks like that.

Positives:

Excluding the character sprites, I like the style and art of this game.

The GUI is nice and the sound design is good too.

The premise is interesting, and the beginning of the game seemed promising.

Room for improvement:

I've only played one route so far, and after it I'm not sure whether I'll play any more. It feels more like sadistic wish-fulfillment than a compelling narrative. Don't get me wrong, I saw the warnings before playing and I have no problem with such themes. However, the execution fell flat for me. The main character doesn't really ever struggle, and I'm not saying she has to be a good person or even be morally grey, but to at least see her selfish acts occasionally backfire would have been more fun. Not that she has to lose in the end or be brought to justice, after all there are plenty of well-written stories where evil triumphs, but before she wins there should be some type of conflict that makes you question how things will play out. Maybe Milo's obsession could get out of hand past what she initially desires, after all she seems the type to want to be always in control; or maybe at some point she starts to find him annoying and when she tries to discard him like with her other boyfriends things don't go to plan.

Conclusion:

The game was entertaining enough and didn't feel long-winded, however for it to be more than a popcorn thriller or a dark romance fantasy it needs something more.
