Thank you very much for the feedback. I'm looking into doing a post jam update to the game where I add the stuff I didn't have the time or experience to add during the jam.

The part where you can kinda stick to walls is intentional, but needs some tweaking as far as feel and look goes (like having an actual animation of him grabbing the wall).

For the updated version I'm looking into adding

-at least 30 levels to add some meat to the game

- Updated sprites for the caves and game in general.

- Spiked walls and ceilings so I have more options for guiding the player through a level (and to add challenge)

- Sound effects for most actions

- Animations for the jet pack and for grabbing walls.

Looking into how all those things work and implementing them is taking a fair bit more effort than anticipated though. And I can already see a couple of extra things I really want to add to the game if I could figure out how >.> (such as a level editor and/ or enemies with A.I.). But I'll probably look into that stuff once this set of features gets completed and implemented.

Your pinball game was awesome too :3 Would love to see a version of that on mobile.

Fair point :3 I just feel like using the mouse and keyboard whilst trying to focus on listening for a specific sound can be a bit hard.

The hardest part imo was finding the birds in the beginning of the game.

Tyvm :3 my game isn't all that good tbh tho >.>

Good idea, but the execution could use some work.

Your player is too slow, there aren't enough zombies to make you feel like you're ever getting overwhelmed, you still kill zombies, just with bombs instead of guns to name a few.

The idea of blocking the zombies instead of shooting them is great. The game could be expanded with things like boards to climb walls, and grenades which cure the zombies instead of killing them so you have an objective and more distractions for the zombies.

The concept has potential, but still has a ways to go to live up to its potential (fair enough since you only had 48 hours).

Good idea, but the execution is a bit lacking.

Controlling the character doesn't feel all that satisfying, and firing at the enemies feels more like you're getting lucky than you using the mechanics in clever ways to beat your foe.

Being able to use the environment would be nice. Like being able to grab things and placing them to function as "aim points" so you have a bit more choice in where you aim.

A ray showing the bullet trajectories before you fire would be great too.

Soo cute :3

Would be awesome if you had more options for dodging enemies and clever play.

An idea would be to add the ability to dig holes yourself, which could either stun a human enemy, or kill them outright if a snake falls into the same hole. Could also allow yourself to get stunned for 1-2 seconds if you fell into your own hole for some added difficulty :3

Love this concept :3

Good concept. Would be better if you could make more strategic choices though, like if the fireball left a flame pit for a couple of seconds so you have to figure out how to best place them for maximum damage.

You could also use the density of the goblins to your advantage, maybe by having the fire spread to nearby goblins. Then you wouldn't have to click as much to still do damage.

Great job! Really creative game. Using both the mouse and keyboard might be hurting it slightly though.

Is there a reason why you didn't use Q and E for turning instead of the mouse? Dunno, just feel like it would be a better fit for a calming experience like this.

Fairly fun game. Could do with a couple of bars to show your progress and the doors health though.

Good game :3 uses its mechanics in some really creative ways.
