I've added an FAQ here that should answer some of the most common questions and will be updated from time to time, mostly so I don't have to repeat myself in the comments all the time ^^'

Thanks!

And good catch, will be fixed in next update.

Uploaded version 0.1.1, should be fixed now.

Yes, we already figured out the problem and will upload an update soon.

In the meantime, just don't use the "Start" from the side menu and launch it by clicking on "Prologue" in the main screen to start the game.

> Your last game got NTR in the final update.
That's not true.
I still think that some optional memories from a time long before they even met the MC aren't NTR. NTR would be actual cheating on someone.
You can complain that some of the maids weren't exactly pure, but that's about it.
Also, the Carnal Crystal was added to TM nearly a year ago, including several of the scenes in question (and most dreams were added in 2022), so neither the "NTR" nor the "got it in the final update" are correct.
But I digress.

> This time you have HAREM in the damn title, and a statement declaring "NO NTR", so can you be trusted this time or you going to bait & switch again?
It was never meant to be "bait and switch", and more an issue of me not fully understanding at the time I added the dreams and Carnal Crystal what people expect when they see "harem" (and underestimating how intolerant some people are towards optional content).
But yes, I've put it like that for a reason.
There'll be some (but not much) avoidable lesbian content in HHR, but you're the only male character in that world just like the description states, and no dreams or memories this time, either.
HHR was always meant to be a purer harem experience, but on top of that by now I'm genuinely fed up of people bringing up the topic all the time, so I'd never make anything like the CC or dreams from TM ever again anyway.

> Also, reusing characters in different games is incredibly lazy.
If you feel that way, I guess there's nothing I can do about it.
Personally, I like characters re-appearing in other games.
In any case, this has been decided since October 2022 and a good chunk of the story revolves around one of them, plus quite a few TM players are actually excited to see them again. This was a conscious choice for story reasons, not some "oh great, I can save work that way".
You'll also be able to ignore some of them to a degree.

Besides, if we include side characters, the final game will likely exceed 50 girls, so I don't think 3 or 4 of them being similar-but-not-identical reappearances isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things.

Thanks for reporting!

We already found the cause, but since the issue is easy to avoid, we'll wait a little more to see if any other bugs are reported before we release an update.

Yes, for the main game this is all.

But if you have Discord, contact me there, I might have something you might like.

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

> Giving them some different sides, depth which TM ones were kinda
> lacking, some cool backstory & role in the plot, or maybe even make
> em evolve into a different person

I can't comment too much without spoilers, let's just say: I agree that rehashing characters without good reason would be boring.

Let's just say I did put some more thought into this than currently meets the eye.
I don't know if everyone will be happy with the result by the end of the VN, but... I'm fairly confident in what I have in store, development- and story-wise :-)

Oh, right, I probably overlooked something there.

Thanks for reporting it!

Hmm... without a picture of the renpy error message (if there is any), it'll be hard to debug, sorry.

But we plan to migrate to a newer renpy engine version with next update, maybe that'll already solve the issue.
But if you're getting some kind of error message when it crashes, it would help us a lot if you could post it.

You guys are giving me a bad conscience :´-)

No pregnancy in terms of adding belly growth or children to the game, at least.

As for TM-style breeding/impregnation and maybe "visibly pregnant in the game epilogue", we'll see.
But if it happens, it'll be late in the dev cycle.

Hey, thanks for the feedback.

That scene was written long ago, when I was still a bit more oblivious about what people like and dislike.
I see what you mean.
I'll update the dream version of the scene to be a bit more like the other dreams and make it clearer that it's all only in the main characters' fantasy.

And I guess you're right about the option to change dreams back to memories. Either someone only wants to see what they originally chose, or they could make a savegame at that first choice, so I guess that option was unnecessary.
I'll change that, too.

That's true... I'll see what I can do.

Hey, thanks for reporting these!
The Emily "issue" is actually intentional, the idea of the 2nd scene is that she wanted to show her enthusiasm and put on that outfit proactively, while from the 3rd time onwards it's just the regular short sandbox interaction.
I guess one could argue about consistency here, but it's not a mistake as such.

Everything else will be fixed in a future update.

I think for the daydream, you need to visit her in her room in the evening, it should be an option there.

About the book symbol of the dream at night not disappearing, that's a bug, we'll upload a fix soon.

There are only 2 dream scenes for her in the main game, a small "daydream" about her in cat lingerie, and the naughtier one you can get at night.
If you've seen both, there are no more than that.

However, there's indeed a small bug that makes the Iris dream option stay visible all the time, instead of moving it to the Dreams section after you saw it once.
We'll patch this soon.

> or will they simply be similar in model (please tell me they won't be the same).
> I have the same question. Will they only be references?

In general, they're not the same person and look a little different, too, yeah.

I can't explain more without massive spoilers before the game is even out...

Then it would be best to download it directly via browser, unzip it and start it with the .exe.

Since TM uses the renpy engine, savegames are duplicated in a central system folder, so playing from a different folder should still show all savegames.

You could also try to locate the app folder in which itch installed TM and replace the files with the ones from the direct TM 1.0 download, but I can't guarantee that this would work flawlessly, so solution 1 is still the safer approach.

That means it didn't properly update.
Are you on PC or Android?

Unfortunately the itch app is a bit of a black box to me, I have no idea how it works.

I kind of forgot.

Although it's in part because I was unsure about it, since I'm a little embarassed about the old Halloween specials nowadays. They're not bad (I think...), but not on the level I would've liked them to be.

Well, I'll update the project cover and page color scheme to a fully Christmas one in December, I'll also add it back to the projects section then.

Hello, and thanks :)

Let me put it this way: Although I know it's not the same as continuing TM itself, you might be positively surprised by my next project :)
It's planned to launch in a few weeks, so not much longer.

I genuinely feel sorry about that :´)

I'd really like to continue this too, but it always takes me some time to mentally switch gears between projects and I never had enough time and mental breathing room to get back into this one...

The book logo is also used for some scenes when they are played for the first time.
The dream scene was just added in this latest 1.0 update, it is possible there is no hint about it in Iris info.

What device are you playing on?
On PC, normally this shouldn't happen...

On Android, I'm afraid uninstalling could be the problem.
It would have been better to simply update by running the apk without uninstalling 0.25.6.

Keeping just the savegame from 0.25.6 alone isn't enough, you would need to back up and copy over the 'persistent' file as well.
What might work is to use your save from 0.25.6, and a late-game persistent file from someone else. That might unlock some gallery scenes too early, but otherwise could work.
I'll upload one on our discord help channel, maybe it helps.

That will continue to get updates too, although the dev team behind it will change (I'll still be part of that team for now though, just not as involved as before).

Thanks, glad you like it ^^

It's just for flavor and gets updated after the chapter 2 epilogue scene.

Relationship rises automatically when you do their story events (follow the story hints on their character info page).

Story-wise, this was basically complete with 0.99, yes.

But after releasing 0.99, I felt like adressing some issues with the early-game story, which I did in 0.99.5, and then decided to add the last few sandbox scenes on my ToDo list now, instead of "at some later point in the future".
But it's now considered fully complete, there probably won't be any more updates after this.

It has cheats on the laptop in the room of the main character.

It's there now, I just put up the downloads first :)

No, it'll stay completely free. It's just that with version 1.0, it's considered completed.

I see... yeah, that was definitely a bug, then.
The changes I made for version 1.0 to make it autosave more often seem to fix that too, though.

So, next public update should fix this.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

OK, I thought it was every time change, but it only autosaves on the night-to-morning transition right now.

Will be changed in next update to autosave on every time change + when quitting the game.

Soon(tm).

No exact date yet, but within the next 2 weeks.

Hm... it's supposed to auto-save on every time change, at least.

I'll take a look if that part is working as intended.

No plans for that, sorry.

I can completely understand that people are asking about it, but depicting minors in adult games (even in a wholesome context) is already an issue and the rules of platforms on adult content will probably only get stricter from here.

It's unfortunate, but just not worth the risk.

Hm... I'll check, could be I forgot to consider the option when displaying that info.
If yes, it'll be fixed in the next public update.

That really depends.

In principle, none of the individual steps are that hard.
Koikatsu is relatively easy to use (though it's important to have most standard community mods installed), Ren'Py is relatively easy to understand (at least the basic stuff), and there's enough decent free2use music and sounds out there.

But if you want to stand out from the rest of the games out there, your game needs to be above average at least in some areas, and that's the hard part, because getting to that level in KK takes some time, and depending on what the game is about you may need to be good at scripting and writing, too, and both the number and average quality of games with KK graphics is constantly rising.

So, making some small game with just basic scripting and average KK graphics?
Easy, I'd say.

Making a game that's good enough to gain a solid level of support on patreon, and then keep up or increase that support level?
Much, much harder.
