On some older phones the game is very slow. We have not figured out a solution for this yet.

It's still being made.

The difference is that steam has achievements. That's about it.

It's possible you purchased the game on the original (I.E. Not special edition) version of Snow Daze. I sent out e-mails to everyone who purchased the game on the old page so that they can get a copy of the current version. However, the old version of the game is now included as the free demo of Snow Daze. The only difference is that it has the original art.

I'm adding this discord link for convenience.

Thanks for the kind words!

The spiral should only be there when moving from the TV in the lab to the TV room. If it's around longer than that, it's a bug! Thanks for the report.

Apologies, I was severely injured a few months ago and your comment fell to the wayside during my recovery. We've been focusing on getting full functionality on the vive, index, and rift. I'll have my coders look into making sure we're functional if it's viable. There's still desktop mode though! If this is unsatisfactory we can issue a refund to you.

We don't mind people streaming our games.

Yes. There is a functional desktop mode for windows and it works on several vr platforms now such as the index, vive, and oculus rift.

I'm still making games. I'll be going back to this after Snow Daze's remake is done.

We don't always post both versions at the same time, as we tend to do testing on itch.io before posting content to steam. We have recently posted the beta on steam, however.

If you own it the game should be in your library.

We're close to the final version of Hypnolab, it should come close to our final release. I would expect 1-2 months at most. We simply wish to get the core game finished first. I hope you enjoy it when it's ready!

More platforms is a work in progress.

Thanks. We're working on these bugs. I'm glad you enjoyed what you've played so far!

It just was.

The vive index seems to have some issues at the moment. We're looking into it, but don't have an index ourselves to test with. Feel free to hop on our discord server to discuss it.

If you'd like a refund at some point do let me know, I will ensure you aren't stuck with a game you can't play. We'll do our best to get full functionality for the index as soon as possible, though.

This version is VR only, but will be updated soon. I'm going to re-enable the old build so non-VR users can use it properly. Apologies for the inconvenience.

(1 edit)

The demo IS the full game. The purchased version is also the full game with a bunch of extras. There is no bug I'm aware of causing anyone to go back to the main menu. If this is happening to you then you should show what's happening so we can try to fix it.

1.4 is out, it replaces the previous download of the game.

You can just download the patch alone if you use the itch app. Otherwise it'll have to be be fully downloaded. The final major patch should be out today.
