Howdy.

Various Novetus clients don't work well with Direct3D, at least for me. I get an error message saying that my graphics drivers seem to be too old, despite them being up to date.

I've tried doing the following:

  1. Opening the maps in another client - it works there
  2. Using OpenGL - works but some stuff is glitchy, specifically the shadows and transparency
  3. Updating my graphics drivers - again, they're on the latest version
  4. Reinstalling Novetus - I've done it twice and still the same message.

I really wouldn't know what else it could be. I've tried everything at this point and nothing seems to work. Even switching back to before the 1.2 snapshot still gives the error messages.

Any help would be appreciated. Ty, Frix

08/02 EDIT: As of Novetus 1.2.4.1, I no longer get these errors.

"It might mean it doesn't like the graphics card driver version you have. Try checking for updates."

Updating didn't fix the issue. Still got the 'graphics drivers seem to be too old for Roblox' message.

I am also getting this same error. It's never done this before, and even after going back to ver 1.1 it still puts out the same error message. I never did anything to my installation and yet this happens. :p

Another thing is that some clients work, while others don't. The only one I'm able to get working is 2009E, while every other one just errors on both the graphics and the map. I can however go into each one's Tools > Settings, close out, and then restart the client to make them work again, however starting them after that will just result in the same error message.
