I really enjoyed playing this game, and found the die roll effects really fun to play with. Also, I love the art!! Great job :)

I really enjoyed this, I thought the premise was really creative. It was a little tricky to maneuver and attack, I think because both WASD and Arrow keys seemed required, in addition to the attack button. Movement was very satisfying when it worked though. Really like the animations and art and overall premise - great job!
Sorry to hear your other prototypes didn't pan out. I for one am glad that you participated in the jam and shared your experience. 1, because I have so been there on many creative projects over the years. And 2, because this game gave me a chuckle (great title!) and it was very satisfying seeing all those dice flying around. Also, I really liked the music!
I love the idea of being a fly trying to rig a game of Yahtzee!! Makes me wonder what the people playing Yahtzee think is happening. Maybe it's a trained fly? Or maybe a hand would try to swat it away? Anyway, clever & creative premise!
Even without score system implemented, I found bopping the little dice around quite satisfying :) Hope you'll keep working on it!
I liked that the game forced me to think ahead before diving forward - you can't just barrel ahead, you have to decide what to do as you approach each challenge. And I like the idea of playing with jump heights mid-platformer like this.
Some ideas for improvements:
- Sound effects for the die rolls would help make timing easier, it's hard to know when the next jump is ready.
- Currently, one bad die roll can force you to restart the level entirely. A health/hit points system would make taking damage feel a little less punishing (even if it's just like 2 HP because you die)
The die with elemental faces is creative idea and I liked it! At first, I was confused about how health was being tracked or when I would die, so maybe an area to improve? I'd also recommend aligning the game grid with the chess board tiles evenly. Overall, I enjoyed the premise and gameplay about being attacked by the other game pieces :) Great work!
