I wasn't able to get the web version to work, but I downloaded it and gave it a try. The music was cool, but I wasn't able to figure out what to do. I did encounter either a neat bug or feature that happened when I walked up against a blue building. If I bumped against the corner of it, the camera would rotate so that everything was at a slight angle. Again, I don't know if it was a bug or a feature, but it was neat and made me think back to the text at the start of the game.

I enjoyed playing this game. The double jump was a little finicky, but I figured out that if I watched the character's arms I was able to tell when to press it the second time. I think one addition that could have made it a little more exciting in the second half would be a map that you can pull up to see your progress. It wouldn't necessarily need to be fully revealed, but an indicator letting me know how far I was from the goal, or being able to see the overall map size, would have been appreciated.
I liked the art style of the game. It reminded me a lot of the PlayStation games I played back when I was a kid. The only thing I would suggest is making the mouse hidden during gameplay. I don't have a gamepad for my PC yet, so I had to play it with mouse and keyboard, and the mouse kept wandering over to my other monitor making it difficult to stay in the game at times.
Apotheosis was very pretty. I loved the animations for the character running at the start of the game. That being said, text that is displayed on a timer is difficult for me to keep up with at times as I keep getting caught up on certain words as I read. I was also a little disappointed that I wasn't able to interact with anything in any of the scenes. I'd like to see where it goes if you continue to work on it though. The story seemed interesting, and as I said before it is incredibly pretty.
Had a fun time with your game. Admittedly it took me a minute to understand why the camera kept moving away from where I was, but when I finally noticed the picture changing I loved it. I'm not entirely sure if I was supposed to run away from the people taking pictures or not though. If not, I think that would be a cool way to end the game instead. After all of the trash is picked up maybe the picture gets taken and your time is written at the bottom of the image like an old Polaroid of a high score in a video game.
I liked the idea of enemies absorbing their dead buddies to get bigger and stronger, but on some levels it felt like if I missed even one, I'd run out of ammo and wouldn't be able to finish the level so I just ended up hitting r every time I missed one. Definitely a fun game though, glad I tried it out.
