How great! Now onto finding all stars (:

Smooth moves here! quite short game though

Very nice color choice! controls are a bit messy with keyboard.. Cool game

Nice original concept

Nice and simple game. Great music also!
Boss don't seem to reload after one lost battle.

I could have used some instructions here... Couldn't pass the first screen
Otherwise ambiance is really good!

Very nice music here!

Nice music and art! controls are quite sloppy though

Nice music and art! a bit short though

Very cool art and concept

i couldn't make it to the third platform... nice art though!

Very nice visuals and concept here

Thanks for the feedback! I modified it (:
fyi CoyoteTime (leap between the avatar and the platform) is quite large in Pocket Platformer.
Maybe consider playing it another time?

Thank you for the kind words! :3

Thanks! :3

Did you know? The original map was intended to be much larger... I ran out of time for the jam release :3

Did you? :3

Sure will! Stay tuned :3

Thanks! Though BeepBox doesn't allow much length, I'm glad this sorted out well :3

Hope you had nice cat kibble :3

Thanks! Have fun getting your paws on this wonderful tool :3

Nice game here
You made a very good use of the "switching-while-jumping" tiles!

Very nice intricated world
Oh wait- there's a map under gamescreen!
...And an outro song?!?

Excellent game

Real good use of a large room
Love me some star-pickin'
Nice game!

This was really good!
Nice art and i 'm in love with the jumping cat sprite

Hard to the core pLATFormer!
It made my eyes bleed and triggered my ragequit sense...
WILL Definitely give it another try :)

P.S. "Hee-Yeah-hee"

Very nice and tricky mechanics!
I wonder if a ghost hanged upon a fire will burn?
Good job (:

Simple straight-to-the-core game, just my taste in platformers
Nice sprites and music! Is the first one somewhat inspired by italian tarantella?
In the "tower level" you might want to delete at least some background tiles as it is slowing down the whole game...
Anyway keep up the good job!

Nice atmosphere you got here! Remind me of Voidcrab
First time i encounter maps in Pocket Platformer
Some huge rooms might be laggy because of the amount of background tiles
I get that this is WIP but for you to know, at this point in the game you can't go back from the red portal
Also turning left after the furpur map got me in an endless loop
Great delivery altogether! Can't wait for final version

Nice cat moves!
Collecting stars has never been so chill
Very good us of the lights effects... oh and that glorious sunrise!
"I've tried hard enough" part is genius

petrichor

Nice game mate!

I really appreciated the good checkpoint ideas and the precise gameplay... a bit difficult but not too much

Also good job on minimal graphic choices!

Very nice metroidvania game! I liked the fact there are no enemies in it. Music is very relaxing, congrats for that eighties vibe in the biome rooms!

Du bon travail (:

j'aime comment les collectibles restant transparents servent pour une fois à temporiser le saut

Thank you for this comment. If you ever want to take revenge on your aborted project here are some tips:

• A lot of what happens here is nothing more than experimental, like does the drum beat match the top left 1,2,3,4 bars?
• Tempo is approx. 150 bpm to match with the "blinking" sprites
This demo helped me a lot to understand how to make music and SFX happen in bitsy

Hope this helps to get more and more bitsy rhythm games in the near future!

Beautiful mood here. I think the word you are looking for is pareidolia.

:D this "nope" effect was like the best part of it
