I saw that submissions for this game jam are still open for a couple more weeks. Is it like a voting thing, or something else? I was under the impression that the game jam lasted for 9 days:)

Hey, I tried the demo and I it looks very promising!

The artstyle works really well, I find the 3d environment/plain texture combo suits the vibe you're going for. It's stylised without falling into a visual uncanny valley as it sometimes happens to some 3d renpy projects. The black outline of some models does sometimes look a bit inconsistent, but it doesn't distract from the overall picture.

I loved how you use the point and click medium for storytelling, like with the laptop and the mirror (how do you even do that scroll thing in renpy?!). I hope the whole gathering info from computer logs or groupchats is expanded upon, I love when games do that (it's a great way to blend mystery/exploration and drama).

The flavour text also sets up the character and mood very efficiently, I loved how you use text to signal which objects can be interacted with in the point and click bgs (something I should learn from). Overall, the technical aspect was really well executed. The only thing I found was that if you click the set of drawers or the lamp on the right it takes you to the wardrobe  scene(that might be intentional or a wip, mentioning it just in case).

It was a really solid demo. Congrats, can't wait for the full version!

Hi, thanks for the comments, and thank you so much for playing the game! I'm glad you enjoyed the themes, it's a whole lot of "the individual/the mind vs society/the state of the world".

Banger game, super funny, loved the characters and tbh the sketch style artstyle worked surprisingly well.

Also OH GOD I DIDN'T MEAN TO KILL PEEPO WHAT HAVE I DONE

Hey, I finally got around to playing your game, and i was really impressed by the scope! The characters and setting were rather fleshed out, I loved how it enhanced the tough choices you have to make along the story. On that note, those choices were super compelling and by far the strongest aspect of the game imo! The RPG mechanics were also really interesting, it didn't even occur to me that something like that could be made in renpy!

For a solo gamejam project it's an outstanding work! I think you should work on polishing the visual aspect (bgs and framing of the sprites, though I thought the parallax effect was really good) and you'll be golden. Congrats!

Hi! I recently finished the full version of my entry, since I was only able to submit a demo for the deadline https://plainsightproyects.itch.io/vet

Thank you:D, glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for your work! My game, VETO, would fall into dystopian horror, in the (Creepy / Atmospheric / Psychological) category!

Thanks a bunch, glad you enjoyed it! I'm planning on releasing the full version by Friday (if life allows it), in case you're interested.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere, it's well written and it's not often you get to see pixel art in visual novels (at least i haven't), which really suits the vibes. It made it all the more enjoyable to read, the only thing it needs is bg music!

Congrats, you did an amazing job! The artstyle is so charming and nice to look at, i loved the  characters and the dialogues were pretty funny. I had a little trouble with advancing the dialogue at times, but I'm sure you're already working on that. Can't wait for the full version!

xD thanks! i'm already working on the next chapters:D

What would you do If you woke up in a room full of strangers, where the truth lies hidden in plain sight, just beyond your reach?

YuNi: a ditch somewhere is a graphic adventure/visual novel thriller that'll test your deduction skills. Play the first chapter, around 3 hours long, here:
