I figured English was not your native language, but I wanted you to know that I was able to fully understand the game despite the language barrier! Very good game design :D

Hi Cyrus! I'm glad you enjoyed the atmosphere and story! I really appreciate the feedback and wanted to address it with how I hope to implement it in the future and some of my thoughts that went into the decisions that may not have worked as I had hoped :)

I'm sorry you found some aspects frustrating, the very limited ammo was intended just to add more tension and create those moments where you have to run away to find more (and possibly run into more enemies for a good scare). When testing it I thought I had left enough ammo throughout the second level to clear, the third level wasn't intended for a full clear though (my fault, I think I could have designed that encounter better, originally we wanted to have a boss in that swimming pool but we knew there wouldn't be enough time to add this on top of everything we had already made so we went with a horde that would overwhelm the player for a "you find the answer but you won't live to tell the tale" ending, which looking back on I could have communicated better). I'm intending to redesign the levels in the future so I will take this onboard when planning encounters to give the player more opportunities to get away or avoid encounters, and the swimming pool area will be getting it's originally planned boss fight that we had to substitute!

For not being sure where you were going to shoot, I'd be happy to hear a bit more as to where we missed the spot on that one? (Pun somewhat intended) I thought my teammate did a good job with the crosshair and communicating when you hit an enemy by having it turn red, I also hoped the bullet trails would do a good job at showing where the bullets went so I'm sorry to hear this was a point of frustration as I thought we nailed this, what would you like to see for us to make this clearer for the player?

With the texture jankiness, I think I know what you mean if it's the weird clipping on the floors of level 2 and around the swimming pool in level 3, this was my first time doing 3D modelling (a lot of firsts tbh) for a game and mistakes were definitely made in the process that would have required time we didn't have to fix (I joined everything in the levels together in blender thinking it'd make things easier in Unity, it did the opposite, I am planning to fix it when I remodel the environments)

Again, thank you for playing, for your kind words and for giving feedback! It's greatly helpful and I do intend to take it all on board while working on a "fully polished" version of this game :D

A very good start to a game, especially for what I believe is your first game! It's a little rough around the edges but I believe with some more time you could have a very neat little arcade shooter here :)

This game looks really cool and actually fits the theme of the jam, but for some reason the game keeps not responding when I press begin after the intro? Judging by the demo the game seems impressive too!

I think the sprites are really cute for this and I can see time has been spent on this, however I don't think the actual game works and I'm not sure what I was supposed to be doing?

I actually thought this was a really cool way to use edge boundaries in a platformer, short and sweet game :D The game being in another language originally threw me off but the game was simple enough to understand despite that!

Cool first person platformer :) I liked the way you introduced each new mechanic

I must have spent an hour playing through this now, the character writing is great, mechanics are well balanced yet challenging, the overall aesthetic is really nice too, great game all around! Would love to see this continued

I also downloaded and found nothing but Unity files, I think you need to export this as a WebGL or windows build in the file settings and then upload that file to itch.io for it to work :)

Very cool text based game!

I like the different plants growing on different tiles but I'm not really sure what's meant to be happening here?

Funny game, love the way the goblins arms flap around as you run :D

Nice game with a nice few levels to vary things up, I think the trees were a little over powered (only needed 4-6 to clear a level) and the mushrooms were underpowered unless you had a lot (need to cover most of the path to kill any of the enemies) I would be interested to see if this game is continued after the jam to see what can be added :D

Well done for finishing this game jam despite having major setbacks! I can see from the design document there was a lot planned and although there would be a lot of work to do to implement all of this now, I would suggest all of you work on bringing the additional features to life after the jam and polishing this game up! It's a cool idea, just a shame a lot of it has been left now due to unforeseen circumstances

I liked the sound effects, neat little game I found surprisingly addictive :D

Very nice art style!

Not a bad platformer/puzzle game, I like the story and music and the puzzle elements, but I think the boss might not be working as intended? Managed to create the platforms but the boss still wasn't visually registering any attacks done to them?

I really enjoyed all the small details in this game, especially seeing how the notes developed with Aster and seeing them grow as a person (just like the plants), very polished nice little game :D

This was very passionately made and a loving journey! Art, music and story are all on point :)

This game has a lot of aspiration for the time frame we had to complete the game, the level up system and the element weaknesses are satisfying, however the game does tend to stutter every second? I think if you were able to resolve that then the game would feel a lot smoother :D Also wanted to point out the tutorial is a great addition to let players learn your game

Cool little survival defence game! I was unable to place additional plants down for some reason but not a bad game!

I actually found the day cycle a little too short as I was learning the mechanics and the first night wave was a bit too strong, but well done for spotting and tackling that bug!

The assets are simplistic, which lead me to think the game would be too, but the game mechanics are is surprisingly deep and so is the narrative :)

This game is actually quite interesting :) It looks deceiving, but I like the theme of it

That works! I like the sprites, wasn't able to finish the first level though

Thank you! We worked really hard on it :')

I really liked the music and the ideas that went into this :D would deal with government vagueness again

This was very cute, although definitely taking inspiration from flappy bird, you added new mechanics to it to make it unique! I would love to see this on an app store for mobile :)

This is a cool start! I think with a bit more time this could be developed into a fully fleshed out game! Also, you may just want to update the description to explain that multiple directions need to be held together :D

It says the .pck file is missing when I try to run the game :(

This was a really nicely made "cat and mouse" game (pun intended), the mechanics were fun and easy to understand but became challenging, good amount of content, well done :D

That was really cool! I really liked that the level was randomly generated and the variety of weapons, was there a good ending or does the world explode no matter what? lol

I liked the mechanics of managing your farm while creating defences to fight the monsters! Although I think I may have accidentally started on hard mode :')

This was nice! I liked the personal feel of this game and the soothing music

This was a nice little game, I liked the concept of making things grow or decay to open new paths :)

Just wow, you guys took a relatively simplistic concept (scaling a mountain as a square that turns into a ball) and made it exceptional, the art and music is amazing, the mechanics are simple to grasp yet you add challenge, truly brilliant stuff guys

Funky little game :) I like the music and the simplicity of this game

For some reason my mushroom guys keep running off and I've managed to get stuck with a troop of unorderable units :/ I also still don't understand what most of the spells do after playing for 20 minutes, I do however love the art style, animation, music/sound effects and overall idea of the game, huge potential with more time spent on the overall design (maybe a tutorial level to explain the mechanics, mushroom types, etc.?)

I like the environment and character designs :D I hope there's more coming soon
