Best mask transition plugin ever!
I do have one question though. I'm using this to replace the default start battle encounter in the plugin parameters, my only issue is that when the effect starts it completely removes all character sprites from the scene as it transitions, leaving only the map visible right as it starts.
Is there a way to stop the map character sprites from vanishing when the effect starts?
Of course! I have never seen an animation play in the editor but throw an error in game. And the image it is searching for IS in the correct folder so it's very confusing for me.
That being said, this is the coolest animation pack I have ever seen and I can't tell you how PERFECT it is for my project.
I really hope you continue this series of pixel animations, I will buy them all day 1 :D Thank you for your hard work!
This pack is incredible, it looks amazing in my game. However I'm having the strangest issue.
When I try to use the Thunder1 animation, it does show up and play in the editor perfectly, however when I try to use this animation in battle scene or as an on map animation (using RMMZ fully updated) it throws an error that it can not load the Z_002d from Resources / single.
But when I look in that folder the png image labelled as such is there so I don't know why the engine is not able to load it?
Hey,
I just got your plugin and it's a really cool effect, the only thing is that for some reason using this plugin, my characters seem to be locked in place in battle.
I use Visustella battle core to have action sequences so my actors and enemies move and jump around while attacking. But, when this plugin is installed and active, they try to move and jump but stay in the same position they are anchored to. Any idea's?
The project on my page is actually a game from several years ago. The one that this music will be in is called "Seed of Nostalgia". And it's much more influenced by the mana series and chrono trigger, in it's art direction. I'm hoping to have it posted to itch by the end of next week with the first alpha demo. Steam page will be up then as well.
I know to achieve results this polished and authentic takes time, but if you make more packs, I will buy them <3
This is the BEST jrpg music pack I have heard on this website. It's the only one I've heard that truly captures the true nostalgia of the era, both in melody and tonality. Massive congrats to you, and thank you so much for offering it. I will be using this pack for my in-development pixel art jrpg %100.
Hey raptor thank you so much for checking it out! :D
I am actually getting back to this project soon after a very long break and releasing what I have done as a part 1&2, for free. It's about 15 hours long I believe and hopefully a decent playthrough.
I've learned so much over the last few years that I want to do the second half of the story at an even higher level than the first.
My metroidvania project is actually on a hiatus for now while I migrate it over to the godot engine which will take quite a bit of time.
And more recently I have a new rpg project of a different variety that will be announced soon and probably releasing before both of those.
Hey Grahf!
Thank you SO much for the feedback and sorry for the late reply as I've been traveling for a few months now.
The demo version you played is from a very old version of the game from 2021.
And I hope you will be happy to hear that I have spent a lot of time updating and working on every criticism you've had.
A lot of the early dialog has been completely rewritten with a big focus to actually develop the characters and the setting, I have added some small voice acted touches to all the main characters so they have more personality.
I added an entirely new save system with a custom save screen, and now the game auto saves upon entering any map so no more losing progress from deaths.
The game over screen is shorter and skippable now ;)
I have around 20 hours of the game finished now and working on it every chance I get.
The version of RPGM I'm using for this project is MV.
Once I have more time I will create a new demo build and upload it.
Thank you so much chonker!
So time traveling in Nostalgia's End is handled by a process in game called "hyperdrifting". In the beginning of the game you will only travel between times according to the main story arc, but, at a certain point you unlock the ability to travel between times as you please once certain abilities and "hyperdrift locations" are discovered.
