My overall thoughts and feelings

Gameplay - Gameplay wise, the controls are easy to use and are intuitive, however the combat of the game is quite difficult, even on the easiest difficulty. The only really difference I could tell was that the enemies attacked slightly slower than on higher difficulties, with the aim and movement being consistent. I also experienced quite an annoying bug, where I was pushed out of the map when it shrunk. I could understand this from a design point, due to the nature of battle royales, but when the player is not allowed to re enter the area, it feels more like a cheap loss and a real programming oversight.

Look and Sound - The music and sounds effects are quite relevant to the games style and suit the game extremely well. It helps to set a good vibe, however due to the way the sound is coded, while playing the game a lot of the sounds overlap. This can cause a quite uncomfortable setting and is extremely harsh on the ears, resulting in me muting the game to even play it 

Originality - The game is not really that original due to the sheer amount of battle royale games at the moment. Most games seem to have some kind of mode similar to this, so the game does not feel all that original 

Theme - In regards to following the theme of Tiny world, I wouldn't really say the game fully follows it. The only really link I can find is the fact that everything appears smaller than in other games

TL:DR - Game does not meet the theme, sounds are ok but the sheer amount of sounds played at one time can be quite hard on the ears, and the game is challenging, however the difficulty slider does not appear functional, other than a slight delay on the attacks

My overall thoughts and feelings

Gameplay - The gameplay is perfectly suited for use on a mobile platform, with simple and intuitive controls for ease of use while also allowing for the use of a mouse to play. As the game is so simple, it really allows for a pick up and play experience, which is doubled by fun and a slowly increasing difficulty level which allows for a somewhat challenging experience. Planet Panic feels inspired by older arcade games, as the game lasts as long as the player is able to protect their planets. This also helps to add a lot of replayability to the game as players will want to replay to see if they can beat their previous scores. The gameplay is fun and is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise oversaturated market full of first person shooters and battle royale games. However one flaw which I noticed is how easy it can be to maintain one planet until more re-appear. In terms of a solution for this, potential increasing the size and frequency of the meteors as more planets are destroyed, or as more points are gained, may help to resolve this. In addition to this, due to the nature of the game, it may be a good idea to add a leaderboard of some sorts, so the user can track their scores and try to beat them.

Look and Sound - The game uses quite a cartoony pixel art style. This is pulled off extremely well and really helps to bring the game together and create an experience unique to the game. The style is familiar while bringing in new elements of design which help to allow the game to really stand out from the crowd.The sound effects are perfect for the feel and aesthetic the game is going for. The sounds are cartoony and somewhat retro sounding, which really matches the pixel art design that is being used. In addition to this, the sounds are clearly distinct from one another, using the correct tones and pitches to convey the action on screen, such as the planet destruction sound using a Minor pitch to convey the negative aspect. The music in the background is also quite lightheaded and reminds me of arcade music. All of these factors really suit the style of the game and matches my prior thoughts in regards to inspiration of arcade titles

Originality - In terms of originality, as mentioned within the gameplay section, it really stands out from the crowd. Even compared to similar .io and flash games, Planet Panic really stands out and brings new themes to the table(This of course being protecting the planets of a small solar system which grows over time)

Theme - In regards to following the given theme, This being Tiny World, I would say the game follows this quite well. The game requires you to protect a number of small Tiny Worlds at risk of destruction. This is all brought together in a nice and neat package which is fun, intuitive and feels new.

TL:DR - The game is fun, intuitive and engaging. The style and design are perfect for the game and the theme has been followed extremely well.
