I'm not entirely sure how this fits the topic, but it's a fun little narrative. Bit of a head scratcher in how one uses the keys though. Never did figure that out.

Great game and the music is fantastic.

You can click on it and drag it around.

Visuals are amazing! I really liked the death transition.

Something in the controls felt wrong though. For some reason you can't really go backwards unless you're jumping, and it seems the amount of control over jumps are pretty small if any.

The good: I really like the visuals. Top down can be hard to pull off and you did great on this.

The bad: game can get frustrating pretty quickly. I chalk this up to there just being the one throw and then having to manually reset it yourself.

The ugly: oh man, that sound effect when the weapon bounces hurts!

A couple of suggestions:

Coyote Team would help the platforming feel more fair.

Some sort of squish and stretch animation when the player lands and jumps can add a lot of visual appeal.

Right, there needs to be some sort of sound effect or graphic letting the player know they've hit the beat.

Yea, the name is a play on the jam.

The artist is quite good =]

Yea, it feels wrong doesn't it?  I was trying to have a soft jump, so that you could hold it longer and change your height but definitely did it wrong.  I think a better solution would be to have a large immediate response with tapering returns the longer you hold it down, rather than the linear way it works now.
