The instructions on the title screen say that the energy wave is done with the space bar, though depending on your resolution, it might get cut off.

Thank you for playing.

The games controls are listed on the games title menu on the bottom left corner.

Thank you so much for playing.

Thank you so much.

And the enemies actually shoot every other second, but I didn't make it very clear.  There was going to be a sound  for when they're about to shoot, and another for when they shoot, but I sadly didn't have the time to put it in.

That moment when you feel like just giving up and closing the game because you've spent like 20 on the last puzzle, then go "ah hah" and ended up figuring it out and you pop off yelling "I'M A GOD GAMER!".  That's the sign of a good puzzle game.

Good work on this.

Yeah, the bullets have smaller hit boxes than it looks so they're easier to avoid, though the player already has a tiny hit box so maybe it was a bit overboard.

Before the Jam, I was actually in the process of making another Arcade Action game that's sorta similar to this(though not a shooter) so this feedback is very useful for that.  Thank you for playing.

When I saw the thumbnail, I though this was gonna be like the old WiiWare game Grill Off With UltraHand (rip), but I was surprised by the originality.  Even though I didn't play through all of it (Hard puzzle games tend to tire me out sometimes), I spent a long amount of time on these puzzles.  It took me awhile to figure out how to grab things, but once I figured it out, it started to click.  These are well designed puzzle rooms.  I will critique that some objects are layered on top of the grab point, so it was sometimes hard to tell whether or not I would actually grab something.   Overall, this was a neat brain teaser.  Good work.

Loved the presentation, love the idea, love the execution.  Would love to see this expanded upon in the future.  If I had one critique, I would say I think the player character maybe feels a bit too heavy at times.

Hilarious concept, fun execution.  Feels really good to hit a goal.  I wanna be invited to a wedding if it's this fun.  I wonder if scoring 100 equates to something on the scale of the Royal Wedding?

Abra The Last Witch: Rebirth is a blend of Shoot em up and Action RPG gameplay about overcoming insecurity.  The game is free, but will have an extras folder for those who pay $5 or more later today.

Hey guys, as you can all tell by me writing this, I'm not at GDC (Game developers conference), Although I would love to go someday in my life.   So I'll plug my upcoming game; Abra The Last Witch: Rebirth here instead.

Abra The Last Witch: Rebirth is what I call an Insecure Shoot em up RPG.  It's an Arcade styled shmup with RPG elements, with a story about a witch overcoming here insecurities.   Rebirth is a commercial re-release of a free ware game that won an award from my high school, and then put up on here in June 2018.  Rebirth expands the game by a large amount, with new mechanics, levels, story bits, and more.

You can play the first free demo here: https://randomwarestudios.itch.io/abra-last-witch

Thank you for your time.

All I'm wondering is what the first 0D game would be like.  This was a fun idea though.

Abra The Last Witch Rebirth is a paid version of the freeware shoot em up RPG.  This is a free demo that adds new mechanics, features, and redesigns for a better experience.

Abra The Last Witch Rebirth features the same kind of gameplay as the original.  Seamlessly blending Shoot em up and RPG mechanics to challenge ones insecurities.  But now, there are new features, new mechanics, new story elements, and added replay value.

New features:

-HP and MP bars

-Redesigned bosses to present a bigger challenge

-A new mechanic, Spell Crashes, adding more uses to your spells

-And much more to be in the full game

If you play the demo, please fill out this survey to give feedback on what can be improved: https://goo.gl/forms/dDDrPuiW8sIKAk4a2

Thank you for your time, and I hope you enjoy the demo.

Your welcome.  All ways looking to give feedback to fellow Indies.

I love the idea for this game a lot.  In a world where card game Video Games are focused on online multiplayer, and free to play mechanics, I've been wishing for single player TCG RPG's that focus on deck building.  To be honest, I didn't even think about applying rough-lite elements to these kinds of games, but it works given the random nature of card games at times.

However, this game does suffer from many flaws that keep it from being great.

1. The combat.

- The thing is, the mechanics of a card game don't work well with real time Action RPG combat.  By the time I decide which card to play, there is already way too many enemies that I can't deal with.  Also, the whole mechanic of enemies getting stronger when you draw more cards is kinda unfair.  The player is not given enough cards in their hand to deal with enemies before they get stronger.  I understand why the mechanic was added, it's to make the player think hard before their actions and adds strategy to the game, but with the real time action combat, the player can't make these kind of decisions when they are dodging enemies and trying not to be dead.  Personally, I would recommend a turn based combat system, because these mechanics would work great and make the game more engaging because with the enemies getting stronger every time they draw, it makes the player strategize their moves carefully, and with the turn based combat, the player will be given as much time as they need to think.

2. Moves that should not be cards.

- Personally, I think the only actions that need cards should be attacks, buffs, and heals.  Pushing and dashing should be normal moves that you have normally.  They take up card space that I only used to empty my hand and get other, better cards.

3. The controls.

- I would make it so you can play cards with the mouse, and move with the WASD keys.  The way the keys for the cards are set up are really awkward.

Overall, it's a decent game that can be great if some of the flaws were fixed.  I'm still glad I played it, and I hope to see more great games from you in the future

(Also something about the heart of the cards(Or any other YuGiOh reference))

It’s been 10 years since all the Witches were wiped out by the demons.  All except for one. Abra, the last witch has risen from the ashes, and into a new world of her own self-doubt, and of demonic ruin.

Unleash the flames, cast deadly magic, help Abra Conquer her low self-esteem, and rise from the ashes in this magical Shoot em up RPG.

*A Gamepad is highly recommended for this game*

Features:

  • Simple combat with both style and depth
  • Unique approach to death mechanics
  • A simple, but emotional story spanning 6 chapters

Thank you for your time.

It's Abra Kadabra's 2nd year at Caster education, but as she tries to leave for the magic school, and army of demons start attacking her.  Now, Abra must get to school safely while fighting off the demons that make her trek difficult.

The game is a simple shooter with 4 spells to use in many ways.  The game takes less than half an hour to beat, but it's not an easy trip for Abra.  It supports both Xbox360 controllers and keyboard controls.

Play it here(PC/MAC):

Thank you for checking it out, and stay Witchy!
