Interesting concept and very original. I can see a interesting game growing from this foundation.

Taking a photo of the ghosts and then having them appear in front of you was seamless. Great concept and foundation.

It has a great foundation. I'd love to feel the impact of my upgrades more or at least see if my upgrades are stacking and by how much.

I love the narrative focus, definitely an aspect that is somewhat of a after thought in jams. I got Goonies vibes from this.

I really think the graphical style of retro, PS1 era horror is timeless. Great job on the atmosphere. When I finally ran into the monster, bravo on the tentacle effects and sound effects.

Great take on the theme. I think this has been the most original take on your not alone thus far that I've seen. I love the effort put into the narrative. My largest gripe is that it seems to be unavoidable to take damage when sucking in ghosts, whether by design or not.

Definitely works for the theme. And definitely stress inducing.

Super interesting concept. I left thinking it would be awesome to see if the gameplay could be expanded to have counter's the AI could do to circumvent your efforts.

I think the concept is fairly novel and the potential to be super interesting if expanded upon. I can see adding all sort of other minions in there to create a whole diversity of creatures with differing AI creating emergent behaviors that create a lot of chaos.

I think the core concept is solid and has a proven track record of having interesting game play via adjacent games like Rocket League. However, here's my thoughts on how to improve it

  1. I would change the camera from a isometric perspective angle to a top-down (either perspective or orthographic) so it's not as hard to judge depth.
  2. I would change the arena to something symmetrical to make sure it's an even playground for both players and simpler to focus on the core gameplay before exploring more elaborate arenas.
  3. I would round out the corners in the arena if you have them to prevent instances of getting the puck stuck in a corner.
  4. I would create a greater number of dynamic powerups that spawn an equal distance from both players to present some risk-reward decisions for the players.

Hope that's helpful.

Feels pretty polished. It has a cohesive look and feel. I like the inclusion of narration that would otherwise be UI element on the screen.

Yeah, I noticed on smaller than 1920x1080 it was changing the alignment of the cursor in game. I wasn't able to figure out how exactly to fix that in time.

Cool idea that is definitely on the theme of managing a chaotic stream of people. Like other comments, I think if the people were tied to keys it would be nice. Also, being it's a game where it's going to take a lot of tries per level, maybe after the first death, the warm-up timer before it starts could be shortened so I can get right back into my next attempted. Nice game!

I think it's definitely on theme, I had also thought, "What's a fun way to reward players for causing chaos in an otherwise non-chaotic environment."

The have to commend the sprite art and the creative and interesting enemy behavior design.

Yeah, never got around to getting jumps in. Definitely would have been a good thing to have.

Very interesting mechanics that make something tried and true gameplay feel novel again.
