I'm sorry to share some unfortunate news.
Due to unexpected ad-hoc work during Christmas and year-end, I'll need to delay the release of v0.0.3 by a month or two. As mentioned earlier, I have a huge project at work in January and February, so I won't be able to release it this year as originally planned. I'm really really sorry about the delay.

I don't want to rush it with bad content and quality also. I'm really sorry for the delay.
In the meantime, feel free to join the Discord server if you’re curious about the dragon and the rat! As of now, there are already four community-voted scenes and two special Christmas-themed growth sequences (as teased in the thumbnail sneak peek, combined with some RIPPING action). The current community-voted scenes will be finalized in 7 days to move on to the next event!

In the meantime, if you haven’t heard yet, I’ve set up my Discord server! There’s a lot of exciting content that I’ve shared there already. Let’s go over some of the highlights, shall we?
- Teasers for upcoming characters! Sometimes I can’t share the full images here on Itch, but I can post them on Discord. You’ll get early looks at the characters and sneak peeks you won’t find elsewhere!
- Behind-the-scenes discussions! I occasionally talk about how I came up with these images and story plots ideas. While I’m still new to some of it and constantly learning how to generate better visuals, I’m happy to share my experiences.
- Extra images and bloopers! Not all the images I generate make it into the main story, but I still want to share them! Whether it’s prompt testing, unused content, or fun bloopers, you can find them on the server. (For example, a breast expansion sequence I tried for Eevee way earlier during development, wink wink)
- A space for you to share! You can share your art or try generating your own images of the characters. Tell me about your experience playing the game—I’d love to hear your feedback! Which character is your favorite? What did you enjoy most? Which character are you most hyped for? You’re also welcome to share suggestions for future content, character ideas, or even help with the game in any way you’d like.
- Interactive mini-stories! This is the main topic of this post! I’ve created several scenes where I provide the beginning, and the story moves forward based on your voting decisions. Unlike the main story, where decisions aren’t available, these scenes let you take control as the main character! Each story starts with an image and usually prompts a “What do you do?” question, followed by five choices for you to vote on. I want the community to help construct these stories together! The best part? Once the story is complete, it’ll be uploaded to the main game. Check out the screenshots for a sneak peek! (All Eevee, Rattata, Charizard and Rattata are there!)
That’s about it! I’m not great at promoting, but I truly hope you’ll join the Discord server. Come chat with us, interact, and have a great time. See you there!
P.S. These mini-stories come with their own unique images and narratives, completely separate from the main game’s storyline. Also, Eevee has two images in her opening scene! WELP, I won’t spoil anything else... go check it out and enjoy for yourself!

If I were to do a dungeon crawler, I’d want to fully commit to it and thoroughly study how to design it properly. For now, though, I probably won’t include it in the game, as it would significantly delay the plans for v0.0.4, the development of future 'mons, and require a lot of additional coding and polishing (as you mentioned, it would be quite complicated to implement it nicely).
I already have some exciting ideas and plans for the combat rework in v0.0.4, and I want to try and focus on making that as polished and engaging as possible. Thanks again for your suggestion!

I agree that the current battle system is pretty simple, I mean I also get quite bored while playing the main series, I could just one shot everything with my overpowered partner and repeat that.
I'll be rework the battling part, such that it's a bit "random" but not too extremely hard. Hopefully that tickles a bit of your brain and try out different combinations.
I have no prior experience of making a dungeon crawler, so probably I won't do that. And for random encounters/sexy scenes, well I guess I can just share those in my Discord, I guess that's also random, you'll never know when a spicy 'mon pops in to the chat :D

Small update after 10 days:
All the Rattata images are finished, and the Discord server is set up with a lot of channels. I'm planning to finalize all the Charizard images today and will start working on their scenes afterwards.
If you want to hop in and chill, you're welcome to join the server! Sometimes, I share parts of the development process there, and you can also have a chat with me!

I still need to polish my writing, plot, and other stuff, but I'm very happy that I get to write it myself. There's not much communication between the characters and the MC, and I've used a lot of descriptive sentences, as I'm not sure what the characters should say to each other, from a writing perspective.
However, I gained a lot of valuable experiences while making v0.0.2, and made several improvements for v0.0.3. Hope you will like what I prepared for Rattata and Charizard.

As for weight gain-related content, certainly! It's just that I prioritize the other growths, nothing special. :P I'm planning to let one of the Butterfree or Beedrill to be belly swelling at v0.0.5, or perhaps both, I'm not sure at the moment. But weight gain will be included, as I'm open to all kinds of growths.

"Nerfing" the sizes has also the added benefit of saving me extra time generating numerous sizes and try to balancing between different prompt generated images. With less prompt varieties, it's easier to find a balance between prompts. :D

For belly swelling, I have done slight cum inflation before on Nidorina, but I think it's not the same as impregnate.
I think the term is about being fertilized at start, seeing the belly swells larger and larger until eggs laids out right? Sorry that I'm not clear with the definition of the term. I tried searching the tags but it's a bit mixed with different ideas.
I didn't consider Vaporeon with belly expansion before! Could be a viable path for her.
There's a lot of hype for the first three Eevee evolutions triplets and I would want to design them better if possible. Perhaps I'll open a discussion for ideas about their growth paths and behaviors.
About the breeding part, I'm not sure if you're talking about pregnancy/egg-laid or just simply breast feed, as almost all the girls have breast feed. For the previous, I'm going to add them as additional story/scenes in the long future, but it's not my main focus for now.

I'm glad that the previous v0.0.2 update went smoothly, with no bugs I believe! But most importantly, I'm happy to receive a lot of positive feedback about the things I've made and improved, as well as insightful suggestions on areas that can be further polished. I am very thankful, and it keeps me motivated to improve myself and work on this project.
One of the pieces of feedback I received was: "The battling is quite easy to grind for levels." Yes, I purposely designed it so that it doesn’t take too much of your time to grind for levels. The current project is still in its early development phase, and I don’t want you to waste your time grinding, especially since I believe the levels you’ve previously grinded won't carry over once the next update drops. I'm planning to increase the grinding speed again for this next update so that you can unlock all the scenes faster.
Anyways, this post is about the v0.0.3 preview update notes!
The v0.0.3 update is planned to be released... THIS MONTH! The release date will be around the last two weeks of this year. However, since I have about 4 weeks of development time (about half of the time I had for the v0.0.2 update), I couldn’t fulfill some of the previous plans for v0.0.3, especially the code improvements for random battle encounters. But the good news is that I’ve figured out a way to implement Charizard's muscle growth images. There are many more things planned for v0.0.3, so please refer to the table below for the update details.
Meanwhile, for the next v0.0.4 update, the release will take a bit longer, as I have a major project at work during January and February 2025. I expect this will slow down the development progress for this game. Because of that, for v0.0.4, I plan to focus solely on improving the battling system, especially the random encounters (with proper sprites as well). In other words, Butterfree and Beedrill will most likely have to wait until v0.0.5.

To prepare for this, I am reducing the maximum size for regular Pokémon.
