Hey everyone, we just launched our first game, Ourea!!

Ourea is a Cinematic Puzzle game about discovering the harrowing past of a long-forgotten world. Play as the last of the Oreads and unravel the mysterious history of your people

Enviromental Puzzles

Throughout the game, there are magical runes which can alter objects in different ways. Glyf can use these to complete puzzles and traverse the world.

Cinematic Shots

We have put careful thought into the framing and composition of every scene. This  will help us tell the story through the environment, invoke emotions and create a complete cinematic game.

Interactive World

The world responds to the player's presence.  As  Glyf  moves through the world,  the environment will change and adapt to create an immersive experience.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! We really appreciate that you took the time to help us out :) To address a few of your points:

We will be working on mouse and keyboard support as we approach release so we can have feel as nice as possible.

Music is currently being composed for the entire game, unfortunately we didn't have it in time for the Beta

The menu art is not final and will be working on that in the coming weeks also

We will definitely be tweaking the audio in the cave, especially if its annoying!

Thanks again for playtesting, this feedback will help us alot :)

Hey everyone,
We are a team of five students based out of Dublin, Ireland and are making Ourea as our final year project for college. We've been creating and posting games to Itch from our individual accounts for the last 4 years and decided to make this account just for releasing Ourea. None of knew this community section existed before today so we excited to talk to other developers and get feedback :)

Here a GIF from Ourea (sorry if this isn't allowed)

Hey everyone,

We have just released the Beta for Ourea, a Cinematic Puzzle game we are developing!

Beta: https://rewritegames.itch.io/ourea

We are a small indie studio based out of Dublin, Ireland and are using this as opportunity to gather feedback for our release in July. We have been struggling to get play-testers for Ourea, having released a demo last month which less than 20 downloads. We would really appreciate you taking the time to download and play our game!

Ourea is an impactful Adventure Puzzle game, with a focus on Cinematography. Play as the last of the Oreads and unravel the mysterious history of your people, as you explore a story-rich environment.

Just followed, looking forward to this when it releases!

I love the art style, definitely gonna check it out! :)

Hey thanks for the reply! The beta will be a free download but the official release will be a one time payment of €6.50. I think that's a good point about confusion, I guess we should take the beta down before the official release as to not cause confusion?

Hi everyone,

We are planning to release a public Beta for our game Ourea tomorrow. We are planning to release it on Itch in July for €6.50 and we are wondering if it would be better to launch the Beta  on a single Itch page which we then update with the Official game later, or if it would be better to make two different pages for each.

Thanks in advance!
