I had a good time! Found the last level pretty difficult, but it seems appropriate for a last level, and most importantly, I did feel the drive to keep trying until I beat it. Not being able to jump while tilted was annoying at times but once I slowed down and approached things more patiently, it wasn't an issue. All-in-all, good stuff!
Very clever that you made a puzzle game with randomly generated levels! That must have taken some thinking. I did find that having it be endless took away a sense of progression that I usually enjoy in puzzle games. It just made the levels a little less satisfying to beat for me.
Also, I got the same issue as Turkey, there were walls blocking Lewis' way to the exit one time. The wall I suspect was the problem had one wall to its bottom left and one to its top right, all other adjacent squares were empty, if that helps.
I did think it was a solid entry on the whole though, and enjoyed the early Yogscast vibes!
It was a little hard for me. Especially when all four types were in one level. There were some well-designed puzzles in there though, I particularly liked the last one, and the victory lap was a nice little reward. I also liked the graphics, and appreciated that you took the time to make more than one music track so it didn't get monotonous. All-in-all, it was good!
Good fun! It was hard but just about beatable. Took me longer than it should have to realise I could aim diagonally, and that you could shoot the fire beam-things. I liked that you made a way to cheese level 3, it felt like a nice reward for the challenge of the previous level. All-in-all, good stuff!
Great variations on hangman. I so nearly beat the game! I'd left the Well Drawn 'til last (I liked the humour of this character, you'd already proven your art skills with the others so why not!) and had plenty of money saved up. But I thought having 1 remaining miss meant I was allowed to get it wrong once more. I was not as careful as I should have been, and by that stage I really should have been able to guess it. But yes, my only negative feedback is that the meaning of "Remaining Misses" could be clearer. Great game otherwise!
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! You know I actually went through every Simon's PP intro trying to find an isolated Lewis "welcome". Didn't have time to look elsewhere in the end so I had to settle for what you got to hear. I'm actually kind of happy about that though, I think it does make it a little funnier.
Thank you for taking the time to make the image for me! So, the "Other People Help Push" level was supposed to teach the direction mechanic, but unfortunately I'm an idiot and had such tunnel vision for the intended solution that I somehow didn't realise you could just use the pillar to block the friend's vision. :| Your puzzle is much better, thank you. I did like the idea of having to push the column back to solve it though, and I think that's still doable without the level being broken.
Hmm, I'm feeling quite tempted to make a fixed version of the game now!
Thanks for playing my game! I agree an undo function would have been good, I just didn't have time to implement it unfortunately. And sorry about the unclear weight rules, I'll keep your feedback in mind if I ever decide to make a more polished version of the game.
I liked your video, it was really fun watching you play. But also frustrating when I realised some of the puzzles could be solved in a way I didn't intend! Still, glad you got some enjoyment out of it. :)
