This game is stunning, crazy amount of polish. I can totally see a commercial release if you guys want to commit to it. I really like the visuals, they are stylish and very effective in conveying information. The music is very good, it's catchy while not being distracting. The only critism I can give is over game play, having the player only play 1 card a round makes the game feel slightly dragging, there's not much you can do for a round, really wish there's more mechanics to compensate for it. Good job!

Wow the game is very cool! I like the concept, it's really creative, and the title is brilliant. I'm also impressed by how complete the game is, you guys surely put in lots of work, respect! However, I've noticed some problem:

  • The player can leave the building before the tutorial is done, in my play through I wandered off of the tutorial area and got many items before the quest even began.
  • The box interactions are cool, wish there's more use of this mechanic.
  • More sound effects would be better.
  •  The items are generic shapes, making them not very interesting visually.

Other than that, I like it! Good job on your hard work!

Thank you for playing! We will continue working on the game for polishing. Appreciate your comment.

Thank you for playing! We will work towards the post launch goal of making the game more polished. Really appreciate your input.

Thank you for playing! We had to cut a lot of original plans due to time constraints, we kinda misjudged the achievable scope of the game in the planning phase, the game only reflected about a quarter of what we had planned initially, so that's probably why it felt like a demo. The combat will for sure get some polish. Appreciate your feedback.

Thank you for playing! Yes, the combat has very noticible issues, we will address it!

Thank you for playing!

I like how you inplemented the theme, it fits pretty well with the gameplay. However, the gameplay isn't very smooth for now. I encountered a bug where the tutorial wouldn't show in the main menu, so I played it blind. I was not very sure about the mechanics and goal of this game, and there are some technical aspects you guys could definitely improve on:

  • Make the background music loop, the music sounds great, let's not have silence during the gameplay.
  • Have a quit game function.
  • Manually spawning the blocks seemed redundant, have it spawn automatically instead.

Overall, great job! Congrats on completing the game!

Thank you for playing! The combat part indeed needs more polish, we might create some system to incentivize fighting in the future.

Agreed! Our musician is really awesome.
Yes we will consider filling the map with more enemies/stuff. Thank you for playing!

Thank you for your thorough analysis! Your suggestions are very constructive, and I really appreciate that! Will certainly be addressing most of them, especially combat and controller support. Also, you are correct about the checkpoint part, it's not intentional, I will fix it for sure. About the art, we have 2 artists with different styles and experiences that each made different parts, so there might be some inconsistencies, which will hopefully be better resolved in post launch. Thank you again for your constructive suggestions, we really appreciated it!

Thank you for the feedback! I am taking notes on the issues you've pointed out, and yes I will fix them!

Thank you for the nice feedback! We will consider other control schemes for an option. The pink tiles are an issue we had that were unable to be fixed by the deadline, it's resolved now! Some other points you mentioned are due to unfinished features including story events and a tutorial, we are currently prioritizing finishing those features for the actual jam release, sorry for the lacking experience.

Thank you for your feedback! We are taking your advice into consideration, and we are going to adjust the scale of the game if needed. We chose the level formate for this reason.

Thank you for the feedback. We are currently designing the main character, the idea we have is an elf for now.

You ideation looks awesome! I really like the concept of exploring the topic such as renewable energies from the perspective of a relatable character. The structure of the game is also pretty neat, the scope of the game can be very easily controlled. I like the vibe of the game, the style suits the theme very well. Wonderful ideation, good job!
