Most welcome! Thanks for swift response.

Why are these tagged “top-down” when it’s for platformer?

Yea, that’s pretty fun to play. And hard!

Works well on Linux!

Oh my god! Just saw this now thank you xD

Hey Comigo, had a bit trouble to find a way to reach you, so this comment it is. On your page https://comigo.itch.io there still seem to be two old discord links. Was checking the forums today and found a thread where you asked for appearances of old links, so there you go:)

super fun

Looks great! I wonder what normal maps would do with some dynamic lighting.

Saving scores would be a good addition. Other than that, game is great, love this genre.

This is going to be fun :D

Danke, der Hinweis hat geholfen. Nach diversem Rumprobieren hat folgendes funktioniert, für andere caprice32-Neulinge:

Slot 0 leerlassen, in Slot 1 amsdos.rom, alle anderen leerlassen. Hoffe dass das einigermassen allgemeingültig ist.

Hallo!

Press PLAY then any key:

Nach Tastendruck passiert gar nichts weiter. Funktioniert da was nicht, oder mache ich einfach einen Benutzerfehler (es ist so lange her..)? Wenn du einen Tipp hast, wäre klasse!

Edit: F4 (Play-Taste-Simulator) habe ich gefunden, hilft leider nicht.

That was really a nice experience.

Not sure if you plan to work on that, but there is two things that came into my mind:

a) Display the side effects applied to a tower, caused by other towers (and in some smart way, which tower is causing it).

b) In addition to adding a tower between rounds, let the player ontop of that move a single tower, and/or re-shuffle the side effects of a tower.

But yea, if you are done with the game, np, it’s fun to play as-is for sure!

I saw your car at the ground of the lake

I think the matrix room is set to private.

So from what I have heard, you don’t wanna speak it out to not draw its attention to you.

From my most vague understanding, this is similar to the habit of not speaking out the words devil or satan in christian communities.

I have never seen anyone trying to censor the words devil or satan (IMHO would be a herculean task anyway). So draw your own conclusions from here.

Hey congrats to release! A screenshot on the store page would be amazing, actually.

You are correct! Eventually I found it after a while :)

Where is the last one :-(

Do you plan to upload a bit of footage on youtube, when it’s ripe? Can’t quite imagine the gameplay currently, following nontheless!

New upgrade screen is much better:)

How embarassing - my first thought was, “Oh, somebody cloned Tiny Islands” :)

Sure, no problem, hit me up! I’m for sure curious about it, depends on if I can manage it time-wise mostly, I’d guess.

Discovered another occurance of “canban” in the tutorial, following text:

"You can click on the nodes and lines in the gantt chart, to directly go to the task (canban)"

Thanks a lot for providing the build!

Starting the application, clicking through things, reading tutorial, adding an own project, generally adding/changing/deleting data in available sections - all works.

I encountered a crash when trying to change the title of a journal entry, but on reloading (no data lost btw, nice!), renaming an entry worked as expected.

Hey, you mention a linux export which you cannot test; I can’t find it, in the zip is just an .exe and a .pck

Am I looking in wrong place?

I wonder, was it you who made the Seedship port for Ubuntu Touch/UBports back in the day? Would that be possible for Chiron Gate too? I’m not sure if they can/want to handle paid apps though.

It indeed is related to the itch.io app, opening the index.html in browser worked and provided also audio. Re-downloading is actually not required (just mentioning for other people running into that problem).

Thanks for the super quick response!

Edit: Deleted the boring system stuff out of my initial post for brevity. Also opened a github issue for that.

Just started to play, noticed I don’t have any sound. All other audio on my system works.

It’s a Linux Kubuntu 20.04 desktop system with headphones (USB cable). I tried restarting the app (launch via itch desktop app), and restart my systems’ plasmashell, all to no avail.

Looking into the games’ directory, I see the track names are capitalised and with spaces - do you refer to them as lower case, maybe? Windows gives more leeway than Linux on that matter.

Let me know if you prefer to handle that on some other place!

My answer got deleted when I decided to make a video of it xD So in short, I get the hint about Escape (from itch itself I think), but it doesn’t work.

In the video it sadly doesnt show my mouseclicks, I try to MMB-click on the tab to close it, then left-click “+” to open new tab. In menu “close tab” luckily works.

But, Vivaldi does a lot with its UI (that is why I use it:) ), and it may not occur anywhere else, so if it’s hard to reproduce and fix, just don’t bother:)

Generally, I like your way of doing it; that I don’t accidentally get the right-click menu showing up while playing or similar things.

Wow I had a lot of trouble getting the game’s tab to close, but beside that a fun and challenging concept!

Just yesterday I heard that Anton Petrov, a science youtuber, suffered the same fate. Having no kids, I have no idea all I can say, I’m sorry for both of you.

do you update itch version as well?

That’s already pretty fun, the axe mechanics are cool, and the trap+door combo as well.

A fantastic comment for a fantastic game

The game is a bit too easy imo, but otherwise a lot of fun.

Can’t believe I played the whole thing :D

The whole mechanics work much better than I expected from the description. Seeing a visualisation of the route in the end would be nice maybe.

Interesting tool, I played with it for a while, and I can see how you are supposed to work with it. Good for giving inspiration!

If you keep making a HTML5 version, that could sit nicely on itch.io (would be a good alternative to me since there seem to be only Win/Mac Versions on Steam) - or do you plan a Linux build as well and I just missed it?
