Appreciate the art direction and the gameplay but its really hard to tell which surfaces you will collide with and which you wont! Makes some of the falls feel really unfair

Pretty fun gameplay loop with a lot of tension. Art and audio are pretty rad too. Only thing holding it back is the controls and lack of time between waves to process

You're absolutely right - playtesting this a million times really made me forget how upsetting it is to control at first. In hindsight I really should have made the area bigger than the screen..
Thanks for trying out my game! Yours is probably my favorite so far

Super cute game with a surprising amount of depth, possibly my favorite in the jam so far.

The mechanics are introduced in a well-paced manner. The reversing mushroom is probably my least favorite because its a little disorienting. The graphics are so-so, but the audio and music are superb.

Admittedly it took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out how it fit the theme (  /_ \)

We have very similar submissions (down to the sprite stacking lol) but I think yours had the better execution.
I like that ramming into enemies knocks them back, and the more open map seems like the obvious better choice in retrospect.
My complaints are the lack of different types of turrets to justify the wagon as a separate purchase, and the lack of enemy variety, but that might be asking a lot of a jam game.
Good job!

Superb cute art and fun concept.. my caveat is that the controls are too unforgiving! The snake goes way too fast and the inputs dont seem to always go through

Really good looking and feeling game, but the main mechanic leaves it a bit unengaging

This game is sick! The art style is impeccable

My one complaint is that the gold earned per wave could have been a little higher to allow for some experimentation

You did a really good job!!
