Thanks for such a great comment! I plan to!

Wow, it's great to see somebody looking for more of a challenge. I'll let the musician know you said that. Thanks for your feedback.

Interesting idea! Thanks for your feedback!

Cool concept, would like to see more polish!

I really like it, would be cool if card choices affected the card pool though, and maybe if you could see how your peers died haha

good to hear! looking forward to seeing it!

My pleasure my treasure

totally agree. I don't know if I'd add angle guides to the ship itself, but making the knobs more clear / those controls easier to use, is far up my todo list, if I keep working on the game. thanks for the feedback!

I absolutely agree, the controls need some work.
The orange numbers were supposed to be black/dark grey, but i forgot to swap them out on that last level, as we were in a little bit of a hurry haha. sorry for the inconvenience!

You know, I kinda did the same thing... I think increasing the base speed (or speed per unit on the die) would make this decision more important, but I think I'd need a couple weeks to really work it out perfectly, and get the tracks working well at those new speeds. Thanks for the feedback!

That's a great point imo. I was thinking a little about maybe adding speed trails (like a cartoon or something), but didnt have the time in the end, we were really pushing it all out the door! the second level was made 30 mins before we published it haha

I loved your game btw, got to presteige 77!

Thanks!

Thanks!

Yeah, the game definetaly needs a couple tutorial levels. This was my first jam, and going into it, I was thinking "it's obvious, I'll just add a little explination in the pause menu"... until I saw somebody play it for the first time, after the jam ended haha. live and learn!

Thanks for the feedback! Our sound guy did a great job, I agree. I only wish he had more time, to add a few more tracks, or maybe a different track per level!

I do what I can for the people

I'm not good enough with money to make a game like that! haha.

Yeah there definetaly is a bit of a learning curve (that I think could be aleviated by a tutorial), and the controls could use a little work too. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks!

I think most of the drag you see comes from collisions, if there were no walls it would take a while to slow down. originally I had it without any drag/friction, but I found it got a little hard to control for new players. I tried to strike a balance, and right now, a skilled player could get a much better time by not having any collisions, but it definetaly needs some tweaking. for V2 I'd consider adding different levels of drag/friction per course maybe. Thanks for the feedback!

One of the best games I've ever played, and I think I have the high score:

There are short instructions in the pause menu

you're a g btw, thanks

(1 edit)

ah, yeah, we would have liked to. in the pause menu there are a couple short instructions, but mostly it's guess and check haha
