Hey thanks for playing! And leaving a comment :)

I'll see if i can tinker a little bit more with the controls in the next update :)!

Hey thanks for playing! And for your feedback, multiple playtesters had problems with camera navigation and some other bugs. So I will focus on it going forward :)!

This was a fun little game! I liked the ghosts randomly helping me and the character design was nice!
I would however like some way to see how far i am in the game, or how many waves I have left.

Visually I would also suggest sticking to one sprite/graphic style, instead of resizing sprites and using different sources!

Well done!

Hi, for the models I use blender and then a remesh filter, which visually works very much like the Clayxel plugin (interestingly enough that plugin inspired me to find ways to do that in blender)!  So just two combined spheres and then the remesh Modifier!  The legs are just line renderers with a material on it  (it casts raycasts down and checks where the bird can place it's legs!) Hope that helps! I'm glad you enjoyed my little game!

Hi thank you for this very in-depth review, if I ever make a version two I will be sure to look at this review again!

About the golden beetles: I wanted to include some secrets in the game: !spoilers! the golden beetle can be caught in yellow/golden bushes (if you know this they become too easy to catch that's why I kept it a little secret).

The bug with the time is interesting, I actually already knows what causes it; perhaps i will fix it in version 2.0! (including the camera movement).

I'm glad that even with it's imperfections you were able to enjoy the game; thank you for playing!

Im glad you liked it! I think its fair critique, the game does get a little bit repetitive. But ill take the advice with me if i ever decide to make a version 2.0!

Hhaha you scared me for a second with this introduction! Im going to study some music theory so i can make better music in the  future :p

Hey you're supposed to also pick up berry's/ flowers and beetles! Try pecking the stacks of leaves!

hey thanks! Yeah I wish more people would play :) but maybe I just need to market it more!

What do you mean first question?

If you mean intro: You can advance dialogue with F

If you mean completing the first day:

You need to collect stuff like flowers / berries from around the map and bring them back to the starting area with the bird on the stick.

Haha I know, i literally have no idea what i'm doing in fruity loops! But i'm glad that you liked  the game!

It was a  nice little game, I liked the pixelart and the overall vibe!

I did put a lot of effort in :)! So thank you for noticing!

I might make a version in the future with a bit more content other than gathering stuff! Thanks for playing!

Thank you for your comment!! I'm glad you liked it!

The sounddesign and atmosphere in the game are good.

I liked the gameplay but after a while I didn't really know where to go. I couldn't find anymore keys and the game quickly lost it's pace.  It also seemed a bit too much reliant on finding keys > opening a door > repeat.

Very impressive that you made this in one week!

Oh what bug are you talking about?

You can also hunt beetles and collect treasures other than collecting twigs, but I agree more content would be interesting to add if i'm going to make a new version!

Hi could you try unzipping it with another program other than the standard IOS unzipper (like the the unarchiver or something similar?)

Thank you for your feedback, i've added a small tutorial to the game!

Bro wahaha thanks for the feedback ;)

Nice little game! I like the aesthetics! :)

Thank you very much! :)

The spookjam theme is:

Midnight intruder

Interpret this theme however you like!

Just have fun with it!

👻

Cute! I thought it was a fun spin on the classic pokemon games.

Only advice would be to make the happenings less often or avoidable somehow, it became a bit frustrating to lift rocks every 10 steps.

Other than that nice game!

Oh i'm sorry, where did you get stuck?

You add a new road piece from the menu which will spawn two connection points.

You can drag the connection points to change the location.

You can right click on the end button to add road pieces! Just press left button to place them down. Hope this helps :)

Yes! Sometimes i was just waiting for units to die. It would be cool if you could combine them :)

Hi! Great game, nice aesthetics and a fun gameplay.  Honestly very impressive that the enemies were so difficult to beat considering you made this in a month.  The only thing I would add (besides more levels) is maybe a way to re-group your players! Well done!

I'm honestly amazed by the fact you were able to make this in a month time.

Multiple enemies, sound effects, music, aesthetically matching Sokpop perfectly.

Incredible!

Hey! Thanks for the feedback, I agree with your criticism :)

I think I'm going to work the next few weeks on getting the core gameplay down a bit better and connecting all the things I put in.

I'm thinking of making an energy system for the gnomes so the player needs to use all their available gnomes more.

And adding things like a bonus for connecting 6 or more gnomes.

If you want I can update you when i'm dropping the new demo, i'd like your feedback :)!

Hi thank you for playing!

I understand your feedback;

I wanted to add a energy mechanic to the gnomes so you can only use them once every turn; meaning the player needs to create complex grids.   But I kinda ran out of time.

In the future I also want to add things like combo's, /status effects and spells which will hopefully make the actual mechanic more interesting than just batteling with one dude!

Very nice game!  The only feature I would suggest is some way to navigate home. I kinda got lost a too much sometimes :) It really nails the sokpop vibe, especially with the details of the walking sound!

Hi! I just downloaded mine from this link: http://mini-design.jp/font/img/mini-wakuwaku.zip

Thank you, that's a very big compliment! I'm gonna start working on fixing up the game a little bit :)

Hi!  The controls are indeed kinda glitchy, I really ran into a bit of a time management thing haha.

The good news is i'm planning on fixing  the bugs and the annoying menu in future versions of the game.

Thank you for this feedback; it's really energizing to see that people like to see more!

Thank you! It's honestly really good to hear somebody actually liked enough to finish it :)

Thanks for the tip, i'll add it to my list of bug fixes for the next version!

Thank you very much! I think i'm going to pick-up this project after easter again!

Hopefully i'll be able to turn it into a proper game in a few weeks :)

The menu is a bit janky indeed. I think the space thing is a testing thing I forgot to take out, thanks for letting me know :)

Thank you for your nice comment! I indeed ran out of time for the audio,i hope  to release a version 2 with some tweaks and music/sounds.

Nice lil' arcade style game. I like the attention the detail. It's very impressive that you could make something this professional looking in a few days!

That is very kind of you to say :)  I'm glad you had fun!

Fun little game, once I knew what to do it was a nice experience trying to create the correct animals :)

The platforming got a lil' bit frustrating sometimes because I fell off many times!

Nice work!
