What does it mean to fall in your own eyes?

What does it mean to be a monster?

This project started as a game jam idea that never manifested, but it was finally completed after more than a year. It's finally finished!

Please check out CWYMP, an unique puzzle game with a narrative twist!

And now I was here stuck contemplating on whether tonight is the night I die...

And I had doomed my friend with me...

The last thing, Bahriyah would have wanted was to get Aaisha involved in this situation. She never knew this would happen but she still blamed herself. As she slowly felt the water splashed on her face, she wondered on what would be next. There was one thing she was sure of however and that was that she will save Aaisha no matter what.

Aaisha is a visual novel that puts you in the shoes of Bahriyah, a young reporter, faced with questions on her identity in the worst of circumstances. Now, you decide what her fate holds for her...

The game is about drugs and their addicting effect on an individual. It's about you trying to navigate a person through a problematic section of their life and trying to puppeteer their actions.

Yeah, I get that the controls and difficulty may be a bit unbalanced. The game was made originally for a jam, but due to some reasons couldn't be published in time. Hence, some issues are underlying yet in the project. Though, thank you for your feedback!

Thanks for your review! I appreciate it!

Most of the points you made were really apt and I hope to learn from them.

I had planned the story to be a bit ambiguous and open to interpretation, so that the plot can happen anywhere and anytime at the near future. Hence, the story would be more discernible from the dialog and endings. However, I do understand that some ideas might have got diluted and affected the narration.

But I think you have got the basic gist of the story and I am happy you got the Metropolis reference! Due to the direction of the storyline, I decided that it would be more appropriate as a conversation with an inebriated person in the CYBER CAFE than anything else.

On a side note, there are actually 3 endings currently in the game and from your review, it seems that you might have missed the third one which could give more more context and perspective to the plot. While I would like to keep it more of a discovery by the players, I will give a hint- its called the "Ambrosia Route". Hope that helps!

Anyway, thanks for trying this out! Cheers!

No problem, man... Hearing that you liked the game is good enough for us!

Love the main menu and the art style of the game. The 2.5d graphics really fits the game.

Though I think there are some performance issues in certain section, I am sure it can be easily fixed.

Anyway, Great Job!

Thank you! We are glad to know that!

Thanks!

What you do in the game actually plays into the plot's suspense. Without revealing too much, I could perhaps state that the answer lies in the title of the game and the game's description on its page. I hope that helps you figure it out!

I would be glad to check your game out! Its seems very interesting!

Downed Jump is a game about Max who you need to navigate through a platforming landscape as he is filled with guilt. The game goes for retro feel and relies heavily on sound as well as exploitation of your environment and the platforming mechanics to face its difficulty.

It was initially made as a GMTK jam game but unfortunately, could not be submitted due to time constraints.
