This game was really cool! The opening sequence where you check your phone was a really creative way of implementing a story. The art style was great, I loved the music as well! I did want to add, because I didn't see anyone else mention this, the game does lag a lot after about 2 minutes of playing every time new enemies spawn in, but it's very smooth for the first dozen waves. Not super game-breaking, but it might be worth looking into if you guys continue development. It could also just be my PC.

When I first played this game, I was certain that it was bugged, because I would try to get in through the front door or window, etc. and it would end the game. It took me a few minutes of walking around to find that the screen door does slide open, but once I found the right door, the rest was smooth sailing. I love the low-poly realistic artstyle/shaders. Overall, it was not buggy and all the controls worked great.
The house is beautiful and cozy. Other than my mouse cursor appearing on the screen, the game was immersive. I kept expecting some kind of jump scare, but the silence inside the house was calming. It's really close to being a horror game though. Perhaps with scary audio, you guys could make a horror game in the future.
I felt like story-wise, the game didn't expand on the story very much after the initial dialogue, but it's still very impressive for a 48 hour jam!

I was genuinely terrified running this on my personal computer at first, but it's such a cool concept and there were no bugs or anything!
