  • Loved the visual aesthetic and the sound design. The opening minutes actually made me tense up!
  • I absolutely loved this game. The only reason I didn't give it full marks across the board is because it's really hard to see things once the lights go out and knowing when you can interact with things isn't super clear. But a bad trip as the catalyst for "What could go wrong?" is an awesome use of theme and I adored the visual style

When I first played this game, I was certain that it was bugged, because I would try to get in through the front door or window, etc. and it would end the game. It took me a few minutes of walking around to find that the screen door does slide open, but once I found the right door, the rest was smooth sailing. I love the low-poly realistic artstyle/shaders. Overall, it was not buggy and all the controls worked great.
The house is beautiful and cozy. Other than my mouse cursor appearing on the screen, the game was immersive. I kept expecting some kind of jump scare, but the silence inside the house was calming. It's really close to being a horror game though. Perhaps with scary audio, you guys could make a horror game in the future.
I felt like story-wise, the game didn't expand on the story very much after the initial dialogue, but it's still very impressive for a 48 hour jam!

Thank's a lot. Uploaded a fix for it, but I wish I had noticed the bug before the jam ended, haha. I'm happy with how it turned out, regardless though. Next time, definitely going to find a team or something, working at it alone is a lot for a 2-day jam.
As for the story, I should've planned it out more in the beginning, but I wanted to keep it closer to a surreal experience rather than a horror one.

Thanks again for the compliments!

There is a good concept, it seems like. However, in terms of actually being able to play, there seems to be a pretty big bug that prevents me from getting past even the first objective. I could only interact with one thing, and overall, I was unable to actually play the game.

Sorry about that. You're meant to go through the sliding door in the back. I've kept the original build up, but I've also put out one that fixes the game ending error as you approach the front door.

Oh, I suppose it was user error on my part then. I did approach the back sliding door, but no matter how many times I pressed E to interact, I couldn't get in! ):

Developer

Oh no! I'll have to look into that.

I walked into the house and the game just ends? Where are you supposed to go

Ahhh, I forgot to disable that, I had it on during testing. Sorry about that. You're meant to go around the back
