Hey thanks for the explanations, I gave it another shot and did manage collect some samples!

I think part of what confused me is that if you are targeting a sample, but not zoomed in enough (fully?), pressing E again will zoom rather than collect even if there is the targeting reticle around the sample. Some shapes are also more distinct than others (the letter lookings one are way easier than the polygons). Whatever it was, once you get a grip on it then it becomes way more doable and pretty fun!

Pretty game, good audio, original concept but maybe a bit too simple.

Love seeing the scale bounce around! Very easy game, I only got a negative response when I actively tried to see if it was possible. Pretty art too :)

I was very confused by which samples I needed to find? I tried matching colours, then vague geometry with E-shaped stuff but never got anywhere. Cool concept and pretty game though.

Beautiful game, nice concept. But I found most if not almost all of the difficulty came from going near the enemy base too early with no indication that a big wave would spawn from a certain distance, a bit frustrating. I also wasn't sure if I needed to catch the droplets from the trees at first.

This game is incredibly pretty, love the music and the frown on the ducky's face! Though since there is no "damage feedback" on them it took me a bit to understand I could kill them. Controls are intuitive. One flaw IMO: difficulty doesn't increase over time, which leaves it a bit more stale than it could otherwise be.

Fun, funny, and original!

Very pretty! And a unique concept too. But many bugs make even just completing the fight hard.

Really original idea!

V2 seems to be missing the executable, and I was quite confused by what I should be doing when playing V1

I had enough fun that I was disappointed that there weren't more levels!

Funny idea, I like that the princess left coins behind! But the controls made me feel like I was playing the game at 2x speed XD

One of the most creative ideas I've seen thus far. I struggled while playing though, because I didn't understand how I should figure out what the "normal" size (or other characteristics of the items) are.

I beat the game :) It was fun!

That was indeed the issue! I can play the game now, yay!

Cool idea! As other's have said the controls are very slippery. I guess its an hommage to Asteroids but in that game IIRC the rotation of the ship was easier than here.

Got almost a minute! What are they hunting with, an assault rifle? XD

No matter what button I pressed, the mole went forward & and never turned, so I couldn't complete any levels (I assume it is a bug). Too bad because the idea is creative and the art is cute

I've played like 10-15 games from the jam thus far and I think this is the best I've seen yet

I chuckled a bunch seeing my boulder just fly off! It gets really instense at higher speeds

FlooK's comment must be right, as I couldn't run the game :/

Cute idea, I'm impressed that the placement of the towers both forms a reasonable path and is not the same everytime, however I struggled to make any progress

I couldn't understand how to eat/inspect/complain (or do anything besides order food) which is too bad because the concept is really cool

Cool idea! And bonus points for making a well-paced/directed cutscene in such a limited amount of time!

Rough around the edges but the levels are clever and fun!
