Nice concept, works well but I think the tiles are moving too slow, a button to have them move down instantly would've been nice.
Also some sound effetcs would've really improved the overall game feel.
Good job!
I like the core mechanics, but I think it could use a bit more polishing to really feel responsive and not frustrating. For instance, I really like the "wall jump" mechanics but it seems a bit impredictible and when you hit a "roof" the gear stop completely which can be frustrating.
I liked the fact that you included a boss! I find a bit too difficult though (couldn't get past it and I'm used to hardcore platformers).
Also, but it is a minor thing, I find it weird to press 2 or 3 to get to the levels, a generic button like enter or spacebar makes more sense to me.
Very nice job!
As others said I think the core mechanics doesn't add much to the genre and is doesn't feel very intuitive.
I absolutely love the two characters an the interactions between them. It adds a lot of personality to the game!
I also liked the mood of the game, the music fits perfectly and the visuals are nice.
Good job!
Definitely a well-polished and very original game. I really like the mood (the music is really cool, and it looks nice).
I feel like the game is too random, and for me it felt like I was just clicking mindlessly the tiles until it went the way I wanted. I feel like predetermined levels could do the game more justice since it would encourage more problem-solving.
Very good job!
Very nice entry! The game is very polished. The background is very nice but could be a bit distracting.
It is very nice and the levels are well designed. I like that sometimes it seems like you have different ways of solving the levels.
The ball feels a bit slippery though I think the ball physics could use a bit of tuning, it makes it very hard to control sometimes.
Very nice job!
Not very original but gets the job done. I think the lack of sound effetcs really hurt the overall game feel and shouldn't be overlooked.
Different types of enemies would've been nice, but there's only so much you can do in 48h!
I also think the difficulty is way too high right from the start, I would have liked if it would ramp up more gradually.
Otherwise the game looks very good and it is nice that you introduced a little story to engage the player. The game feels good to play, the controls are fluid.
Good job!
It is really hard to control, as said before, everything move way too fast. The projectile sometimes goes the opposite direction. UI could use more polishing too (another font would've been nice for instance).
With a bit more polishing and tuning it would feel much more satisfying to play.
Congrats for submitting a game though keep up the good work!
Nice job! The game is cute and I really liked the mood. The bullet mechanics is also nice.
I don't know if this is intentional but the movement is waaaay too fast for me (if not intentional and not that fast on your machine, make sure the speed of the character is FPS-independant).
Also, I think it is nice to add Arrows for controlling, especially for us non-qwerty users!
Nice game, I like the music and how cute the characters are. The jump sometimes doesn't register (I think it is due to the little gap between clouds), I think having gaps between cloud didn't really make sense. Also it could be hard to control both characters (especially for non-qwerty users but that's another srory :D).
Cool ideas though and you managed to implement quite a lot of interesting mechanics even though the powerups aren't always necessary (the block breaker and the scissor level can be easily done without them).
Great job!
I love the idea! The game feels polished and the style is hilarious. Art is goergeous I really liked the evil character! I like the how the core of the game is designed (mini games and changing difficulty depending on the stacking).
Having a different screen everytime you have to complete a mini game seems to disrupt the flow of the game (at least for me).
The boss fight felt a bit tedious, I would have prefered to be able to launch all the guy in the same sequence or something like that rather than having to stack a guy everytime to get a hit!
Good job!
Very original and nice take on the theme for sure! I like the vibe of the game, it feel a bit weird bit in a good way!
I took me a while to figure out how the different forces interact with the objects, maybe some intermediate levels would havebeen nice to introduce better with tht mechanics. Also I completely forgot you could change the forces during the level (I saw a comment below mentionning that otherwise I don't know if I would have figured it out).
Good job!
