Thanks! I planned on having a tutorial / "how to play" section in the game, with some narrated voice lines in the style of a mission briefing, but sadly it wasn't done in time to make it into the game jam build of the game. I did write out a pretty lengthy section on the game's itch.io page explaining the basics though.

There are a few things I'd really like to polish up and include in a future version - we planned on players having their own character faces when playing as the agent in addition to unique patterns / colours for their name plates. I'd also ideally want to have a separate game settings / config screen where you can fine-tune the details more, like having extended round timers or changing the player's health.

There's also online play, which just wasn't something I would have been able to get working in the time we had - the "lone wolf" mode was the best compromise we could manage before the deadline - having only one player needing to physically be in control at a time helped.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! :)

Sent you a request! I'm Beardo Weirdo :)

Hi! We have a sound design guy on our little team, but nobody doing music yet. I had a quick listen to your work, and you rock! I'd be happy to have your work in our project :)

Discord would be the preferebale way to keep in touch, as I've already set up a little server for us, but if you prefer other means of discussing things I'm more than happy to.

Hi! I'd potentially be interested, since my friend and I have only really got the programming and art side covered between us :) Usually for projects like this I just rely on royalty free / stock sounds, but I'm sure our game could make good use of your work.

Thanks! I look forward to taking part :) Game jams are fun.

That's what I assumed, but the FAQ uses the phrase "can be played by 2 or more players simultaneously" and wasn't sure if it was excluding turn-based stuff. I figured there's no harm in double-checking!

Haven't decided on which game concept to go for yet, but my friend and I are interested. Just wanted to clarify something - are turn-based multiplayer games allowed, or is the spirit of this jam more about simultaneous/real-time multiplayer? One of the ideas we've been throwing around is a card game, so I figured I'd ask before we've settled on a specific idea.

Obviously some proper menus would be good. Some kind of anvil system to add a little more complexity to the crafting process would be nice. I'm not entirely sure how best you could implement player agency in what type of shape you get out of it, but it would be nice to allow players to craft the wrong thing by accident. Maybe something as simple as hammering the heated metal a different number of times depending on the product you need. Eg, hammer it once, cool it off and you get a hammer head. Hammer it twice and cool it off, you get a spearhead, three times it's a sword blade etc. Making customers get impatient after waiting too long would be good too, adds a bit more challenge to things.

Effectively I'm thinking it would be cool to have it working similar-ish to "Cook, Serve, Delicious!", but 3D, and crafting medieval weaponry instead of food. :P Of course what you do with the game ultimately is up to you, but this is a suggestion thread after all!
