Rules state you can submit stuff you submitted on other jams, a sequel to a game you already made, a game you already made, and a remake of one of your old games.

Your game seems to belong on the third one, so I'd say yes.

Any other questions can be asked in the official discord for this jam.

I wish everyone good luck, and hope that the following five years be fruitful.

Yes, it definitely alright!

Some people will definitely join near the start of the actual jam, and you're probably not the last one to join.

I have uploaded the new zip file, and added a web version as well for convenience. but I do not know if it can hold itself.

Please let me know if any more problems arise!

I have checked the game and found the exact thing you had a problem with. I have also made additional improvements to allow freedom of movement within the given time.

I'm uploading it right now, as well as a web version just to see if it works.

I'll let you know once it's done.

I may have forgotten to update the event there.
Sorry about the issue.

I'll check it in a bit.

Played for the review, stayed for the timer and music.

Was it just me or did it sound like Amo-

The gameplay is simple, the collection wouldn't last longer than 4 minutes, if done as fast as possible.

After getting to the last room, there's not much else to do rather than move left and right.

As I'm writing this there's less than 5 minutes on the timer.

If improved on, it could become a much greater experience.

Sadly, the MMO part wasn't given much context or integrated to the game itself. Other than that, it's pretty decent.

I'll rate it 4 out of 5.

Edit: I waited for the timer to end. And the game ended. Can't really say anything else. :p

I never got to finish the game myself because it kept lagging, not like "online ingame lag", but my browser acting up thanks to my dozens of tabs.

So I watched the youtube video instead.

The conversations were well thought out, with an actual "old player" that played with our main character during the game's life. There were a few others that are best left so that those who decide to read this before playing it don't get more information.

The other online player had a good personality given to it as well, giving a bit of context and some more stuff regarding the game.

The end was well done, and I can't say more.

If I were to rate it out of five, I'd say it is 4.7.

Simplistic, yet done extremely well.

The slight downside was having to spam the movement controls, which I can't really comment more on as I do not have any experience with Pico-8.

The interactions with other slimes/players was short, yet delivers exactly what they mean to say.

If I were to give it a rating, I'd say 4.8/5.0, the only negative thing I experienced was the button spam.

An amazing experience, focused on one's memories of a game that is about to shut down its servers.

The fact that the end is during a scene that I dare not spoil is greatly executed, and the way that each 'Player' has a noticeable semblance of personality helps make it a more emotional experience.

If I were to rate this game, I'd say it's around 4.6 to 4.9 out of 5.0.

I took in consideration some confusion regarding information about the "game" itself, like limitations on player count, and in contrast the great wait that the world and memories are presented, which is the thing that most influenced my rating.

Good day!

I have tried out your game, and right now I'm having trouble finding out my main objective.
So far, I have tried joining the server with a "player", and have explored around slightly.
I have tried capturing the flags as well, but have no clue on how long I need to stay in said spot or if I need to get to every flag in a set amount of time.

I will be trying the game out a few more times, and I'll send my progress here.

If I were to rate it out of five, in my current experience, it would be a 2.5.

I have considered my current experience with the game and the fact that I do not have a mouse when typing out this message.

Quick story

So there's this game named TOMMOG (not an actual game, any coincidental matching on any existing game is not intentional) that was once well known and liked due to its amazing gameplay and system. But after some time, they added microtransactions, which made people lose interest in it and eventually leave the game.

This game is set a few months or so after the game could barely keep servers up, and is set to be shut down. The developers did have one last thing planned, and it made people return one last time.

TOMMOG

That One MMO Game That Was Popular Before But Lost Its Fame, Now It's Shutting Down But They Had One More Trick Up Their Sleeve

I plan to continue on my submission once I am able to buy my own copy of MZ, but till then, I'll probably work on a Visual Novel I want to see come to fruition.

Thanks for the review! To tell you the truth, I actually rushed the dungeons since I started late and  was only able to finish the dungeons less than 24 hours before the end of submissions.

I definitely missed adding some of the events regarding the rocks in the first floor, but if it's possible, I would also appreciate if you tried the other floors, save for the last one because that was where I pretty much run out of ideas.

Thanks for the comment regarding the maps as well, though the upper half of the forest town was actually a premade map included in RPGM. I plan on creating more classes to give players more choices, and could use a suggestion.

Again, thanks for trying out my game!

Thanks for the review!

Thanks for the review!

REMINDER:

BOTH OLD AND NEW VERSION ARE FULLY FUNCTIONAL (SHOULD BE), BUT I RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THE NEW VERSION SINCE IT HAS CERTAIN THINGS THAT THE OLD VERSION DOES NOT HAVE (DUH). IN THE CASE OF ERRORS AND CRASHES PLEASE TRY THE OTHER VERSION.

Just noticed it. Thanks!

10/10 bad! Would play again!

Try visiting your game's page.

If you have submitted it, there will be something like "Submission to blah blah blah" on either the left or right side.

If there is, click on it to make sure you have submitted it.

It should lead you to the Jam Page for your game.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks for the review!

I fell off somewhere, was that intentional or did I find a glitch?

Other than that, really sad story. Sorry trash cat.

Thanks!

I'm not a  host, but I believe that everything included in the games counts for time, dialogue included. So the answer is probably yes, dialogues count for gameplay time.

One last question for me, since I don't know if it is allowed at all, but can we use tilesets from other RPGMakers? I'm seeing if it's possible to use the SF_Inside from RPGMaker MZ since I like the tileset provided there, especially the green cyber/hexagon tiles.

Thanks.

Thanks!

Just to be absolutely sure since I haven't joined a jam for a long time, we are allowed to use the assent included in the free version right?

And concerning plugins, are they fine as long as the plugin creator allows for commercial use?

Thanks for playing this game!

I see you had trouble with the "boss fight" that takes place at the end of the game.

My tip is to constantly use "Heroes' Bane" whenever possible. It greatly increases your chance of survival.

To be honest, the blank characters (blank slates) were not actually supposed to be there, but I did not get to check that part so it also improves survival rate.

The boss' health is 10000, and constantly using "Heroes' Bane" and "Double Attack" (In 'Special' menu) will get you the win.

It might take a couple of times to complete, though.

For the "Shopkeeper's Coupon" that you got, it's a way to be able to skip the more-or-less 5-minute thing at a 10% chance.

In easy mode, you can pretty much use the save system (Talk to the skeleton to get it) to exploit the coupon.

For getting the coupon in Hard mode (irrelevant if you already finished the game in easy because it's pretty much the same thing for now), the coupon is between the three pillars on the right side of the door/gate that opens up to the 'castle'. You can 'go under' the middle pillar to get it.

Thanks again for playing!

I have 2 games you *might* want to try out. Really need other people's views on them.

https://itch.io/jam/igmc2018/rate/336633 = The ShopKeeper's Secret (I think you should save this for last XD)

https://itch.io/jam/igmc2018/rate/335661 = Insiders (A story based game demo)

Thanks!

Thanks for the short comment/review!

Regarding the questions you had,

I have been planning with a friend of mine to make it bigger, with a story being involved in it, making the experience more polished and better than it is right now.

Plans to have more difficulties have also been in my mind, of course, in order to do that, the first two difficulties must be 'nerfed' first in order to provide a better experience for beginners.

If you have any ideas you might want to share that could improve my game, feel free to do so.

Thanks for playing my game!

That's one way to talk about it, that's for sure.

But I still thank you for playing my game even though it was a bit short.

I think yours is the shortest I probably ever had.

Still, thank you.
