I know, level design is kind of rudimentary right now, but I did not have enough time to do an overhaul for the game jam. Will do in the future, tho! :)

My plan is to include more mechanics into the platformer part of the game, so it's not just "a plain and simple hop around adventure" anymore.

As for the different levels of salvaging: I purposely haven't included any description of what it does, so players won't get spoilers for the ending scene. Let's just say, that there's a very small karma system in place :)

Haha, yeah I kinda swept that one under the rug, I feel like. For the Game Jam it is written down in the GDD, but for casual players I really should include a small tutorial.

I'm sorry, but I did not get new/more levels done while competing in the Game Jam - will come back to it tho, to update!

Really like the gameplay, but the tutorial dialog boxes threw me off. I don't know if that happens only in fullscreen, but the were in different sizes each time i clicked NEXT.

That's quite some funny idea - i like it! :)

finally, it's back! you can move around in the ending, again :)

cute idea, nicely done :)

i have two suggestions, tho:

  • make it so the shadow doesn't fade the filling bar on top, or you don't know where you're at, at some point
  • some combos are just not doable. if a potion drops on the far right and afterwards one on the far left, ist impossible to reach them

welp, I just disabled moving in the end screen :)

i kind of like the approach, but it lacks the alchemy theme and a GDD

game ratio in itch.io is not correct - try resizing the itch.io game window, maybe it fixes browser playability?

I played for a few rooms and gotta say, i really like the idea of standing in the correct shadows :) But solely collection potions feels like a needless point system, i dunno? maybe make it so you collect ingredients for your neyt alchemy recipe?

ps: laggs quite a bit, and i don't think the music is licensed for commercial use?

So far this game does not fit the theme, nor has it a GDD.

Plays in browser at least, tho :)
